Wow what if he loaded a dart with crushed up Hydrocodone?

Hydrocodone can be fatal at less than 90mg -- it's one of those drugs where the distance between starting and fatal dosage is uncomfortably small. That said, a fatal dose made up of a solution from crushed pills would take some time to work, especially if it's done via intramuscular injection (likely landing place of a dart) as opposed to intravenous or oral, and I'd expect some mess (sorry) based on generally acknowledged symptoms of OD.

We are VERY careful when prescribing hydrocod or hydromorph to advise patients of the dangers of overdosing even on a small scale, especially given the generic look and feel and small size of the pills. But it's been a a while I've personally attended on a hydro OD; there will be others here who can add more detail on how that might fit into the timeline we're working with.

I am having a very hard time pulling up the PP house address on google maps. Is anyone else having a hard time or is it just me? It keeps telling me no search found.
@SteelCity91 bbm @Ontario Mom answered about absence of address, but maybe this from zillow.com, or other real est websites will help. Or maybe not.

19057 Puma Path, Salida, CO 81201 | Zillow

PP listing page has slide show of house pix, and a map of house location is there too. Can zoom in & out.

If Barry used the tranq dart to incapacitate Suzanne...I would fully expect him to use a chemical known to him, used before, or similiar that he was experienced and/or familiar with. He would be able to anticipate its effect and Suzanne's reaction to it much better than something not tried or tested. Thats why I think he used some known compound of animal tranquilizer.

Oh didn’t you hear? Defense says that text meant she was done having coffee at the neighbors.
Why yes, I hear people say that all the time when ever I’m in Starbucks.

Let me know any I've missed! TIA

As a person who is very fond of chipmunks (and squirrels), respectfully, they are not the same. There is a golden mantle tree squirrel in the California Sierra that strongly resembles a chipmunk, but otherwise, squirrels are squirrels and chipmunks are, well, adorable. Here's a very large picture of a teeny tiny chipmunk.

;)

Also, there are raccoons from Barry's boyhood. And a picture of him and Mallory gloating over the killing of a bear. Thank you for injecting a little lightheartedness to all of this.

Defense asks Undersheriff about surveillance at a Loaf 'n Jug with car that looks like #SuzanneMorphew car. Undersheriff says he disagrees. Defense says he didn't put that in report. He says a different person did the report and he disagrees. Defense says he changed his mind.

This would make sense. We now know that he had at least two boxes of empty darts at some point. Odd that they didn't find the "tranq material" which, for most uses with deer or elk, is made of ketamine and one or two other chemicals (sometimes just ketamine). Ketamine is best known as a date rape drug. Somehow, I don't think we're going to hear evidence about exactly what Barry used in his darts.

I struggle so much with any kind of cruelty, haunts me. Even the fact a turkey was shot and apparently not for its meat bothers me. Now a bear too :(.

We have both squirrels and chipmunks in our back yard every day. Just a few days ago, one of our cats was strolling along the deck... with a chipmunk in his mouth. He can't catch the squirrels, but the chipmunks are much slower. I had to scold him for being Murder Cat, rescued the chipmunk (he ran off just fine, didn't see any injuries) then looked at my cat (who's name is Ed) and said "what, pulling a Barry here?". He wasn't impressed.

The dart gun did not work.

It’s starting to sound as if Suzanne was not outdoors when Barry got home. The bikini that she had on in the sunbathing photo was in the closet. The closet inside the master bedroom that looked like there was forced entry into. The one with the unspent 22 shell. Maybe Barry was the one sleeping in Mallory’s room.
How did you get to that from what we know? Isn't it possible Suzanne went to the bedroom and changed out of her bathing suit? We don't have a tight enough timeline to eliminate that possibility I don't think. We don't know how she was murdered or when. We have a big chunk of potential time still that is unaccounted for.
