Does the judge decide tomorrow about whether to proceed to trial or release BM?
I feel good, but there’s still more to go. Ask me again tomorrow!

I was thinking about that too. Was she talking to him too while struggling saying what are you doing Barry? Have you lost your mind? Why are you hurting me? What about our girls? Was she thinking I might have had a gut instinct this could happen but now it actually is? Ugh it makes me sick to imagine her last thoughts. She must have been terrified mixed with sadness at the realization that she would never see her daughters again. And probably scared he might harm them too and kill himself. I just hope it happened fast and he didn’t torture her. And what he did with her after that makes me feel sick too. He is a monster.

This is what really matters. We are gathered here for a lady whose life was ferociously ripped from her, her loved ones and from loved ones who will come long after her murder, perhaps in the form of grandchildren. Suzanne should be having the pleasures of normal mothers with two beautiful daughters would experience.

I cannot hold it within me that Barry was kind or gentle with his killing of Suzanne for I have heard his wicked lies and read his silly excuses. I haven't heard any remorse whatsoever. I fully expect brutality and force was involved w her insidiuous murder.

I know it’s a little detail, but the most ridiculous thing Barry said is that he and Suzanne shared a steak dinner on one plate.
And one knife and one fork, too, I'll bet!

For those asking: #BarryMorphew was only seen a few times winking and smiling to his daughters in between breaks. Signs were posted in the courtroom not to communicate with the defendant. I didn't see the daughters cry at any point today as they had previously done.

CBD Tim sounds like a nickname that a total square, upper-class citizen without an once of street sense in him would think a drug dealer would be called.

Unfortunately so far, I'm REALLY not impressed with the case the prosecution has put forward. There's some shady things to be sure but as far as hard evidence.....no. I don't see going to trial with this. They will certainly need a boatload more to secure a conviction. Yes , I understand this is a PH, but you can't put a guy on trial for being an jerk. And so far that's all that is readily clear here.
I think when you take each thing, brick by brick, you can build a wall of guilt. They are individuals details---but taken together, they are very damning.

She disappeared---last heard from when Barry was there with her. There was a sudden silence, sudden disconnection from people she had been in constant contact with. What happened?

The jury will wAnt to understand what happened in those hours after she went silent. And there is some very incriminating evidence about what was going on in those critical hours---when Barry is claiming she was home asleep.

During those hours, Barry woke up much earlier than he told the CBI--and he went on his trash run---5 different trash drops, on his way out of town.

Not to mention how phony that slapped together business trip was. And then the bike---evidence pointing to it never been ridden there by SM, but planted by Barry.

I think the jury will see that clearly and accept it. Because the other option makes no sense. SM just suddenly stopped speaking to her boyfriend and her best friend---right when she was supposed to be taking part in her best friend's family wedding--then she continues ghosting everyone and goes on an unusual bike ride---doesn't take her car, as usually does---doesn't take her water or bike gloves---rides a route that is dangerous and beyond her physical level---bike is found, but no evidence of a crash and the tire and handle bars seem to show it was walked there, not ridden there.

Just the general shape of the whole case seems to point to him being guilty. And we have not seen the actual evidence. This ids just the hearing which is the most simple version of their case against him.

And yet the AA was sealed to protect them? I’m still not seeing any reason yet - unless there is actual evidence of a violent end which is graphically described - I don’t understand his reasoning

Ooops. Ian Huntley moment, Brit sleuthers
Yes, and Chase Merritt said the same thing about Joseph McStay. I was definitely the last one to see him.

Trying to get caught up, SM’s pocketbook in that car. Was she trying to leave. I don’t ever leave my pocketbook in the car.

#BarryMorphew told investigators it blew him away that #SuzanneMorphewpulled off an affair for 2 years because she was a good-hearted person and everyone knew it. @KKTV11News

I
think it was more than “blew him away”- I think he was furious she pulled one over on him and kept it secret for some amount of time - what a blow to his enormous ego that she found someone better than him to love- for someone as arrogant as him? Must have really pissed him off ….

Someone she has always known. Before him. OUCH.

Anyone have a good synopsis of the evidence today? I haven’t had much time so I’ve tried to follow Lauren Sharf’s tweets bu they’re frankly confusing.
Check in later. I'm sure someone has it all together. Barry lied, a lot, and when he couldn't keep up with his own lies he said he didn't recall 95 times. Oh, and Suzanne was a drunk and a drug addict - depending upon the day, of course.
They had steak on one plate and then had sex and it was great because she wasn't drunk/drugged but she had drunk eyes a few hours earlier. God took his vengeance out on Suzanne because of her adultery but he had no clue about her infidelity. Turns out he thought he could trust the investigator (fbi or?) but that didn't pan out well.
My brain is mush. I'll leave it to the infinitely more organized members here. :)

And that is before you even get to the mountain of lies BM told in LE interviews.

Hurt my heart to have him mention sex.

We can draw what we will from that.:(

Wow.
One thing that caught my ear was that an excuse for having the scratches on his hands and body were:
Caused by a tree while he was out Searching for his wife. IIRC
So he is is still victimizing SM. The women you murdered? Yea it was her fault but not from a tree.

I think BM tranquilized the Devil and cut off his horns IMO. I have 32 in the Zoo.

We're all going to be laughing about CBD Tim for the rest of this case, aren't we?
Oh yes, Barry is going to go down in the Websleuths hall of infamy for that one. IMO.

Obviously the circumstances are different, but in the Frazee trial, they judge announced it would go to trial at the end of the prelim.

That would be fantastic!!

We have still not heard from many I expected to hear from by at least day 3. SO, JL, GD, MM. If the defense clogs the floor again tomorrow, what then? The judge extends the amount of days allowed to present? Or the prosecutors are narrowing a list tonight of the most important witnesses in case they can’t finish?

As a volunteer fireman he should know burning paper in a fireplace is the LAST thing you should do, given how the chemicals on paper affect the lining of a chimney.

Not to mention how chemical fumes from coatings on that paper could affect people.

Was it published that the AA was sealed to protect them? I have read that a few times on the thread, and wasn’t sure if it was the legal reason given, or the consensus on the thread. Thanks for the assist…
