But during the preliminary, the burden is lower than beyond a reasonable doubt. I believe they proved probable cause to bind over.I almost feel like the prosecution was just going through the detective handbook's "means, motive, opportunity" playbook. They definitely covered all three but as the prosecutor, you have to prove that the defendant actually did it. Not just that he could have.
