It reminds me of when Patrick Frazee said how surprised he was that people even cared about Kelsey Berreth. Just because PF and company did not care about their spouses does not mean others will not care.

I would think so. They seem to be a buffer that slows the current right up against the beach.

That's similar to what I was going to suggest, the rocks placed out towards the river to protect, actually, the adjoining section of property from excessive flow which could eat away at that whole low area, but only if the river there flows left to right. I don't think it would protect the beach, the way the rocks are placed. To protect the beach from a right flowing current ie coming from the right, the rocks would have to be placed going towards the center, but angled to the left, if that makes sense. Just like a real life jetty. Opposite with protecting the beach from the left, I just don't see it. I wonder if the purpose of that little area is for the family to launch their little boats, etc. In May the water was lapping right at those steps.

On the right side of the photos it looks to me like river rock was brought in and deposited. To raise the river floor in that area and create/protect a beach. We did something similar at a lake house long ago.

I just rewatched the drone video of this area during the search. If you are in the river looking at the house, the current flows right to left.

i believe if you are looking Toward the wall from the river, it would be flowing right to left.

Thanks, that's what others are saying. I stared at the river rocks for too long to guess the current. If it's right to left I don't know what purpose those boulders serve, as to my eye it would drive flowing water behind them, create an eddy, and wipe out that whole low place. But, I'm no construction person, just a critic, ha ha.

I totally agree. BM must have reasoned that if he kept pushing the lion story, soon everyone would buy his story and go away. Thank God for Andy Moorman and for everyone searching. Also for everyone here who cares about Suzanne. May this be the day she is found.

Looks to me like the original purpose was to be a little retaining wall for the lawn.

I'm pretty sure, at least from what we know, he had no plan to go to Broomfield until it dawned on him on Saturday as being the perfect alibi. With the distraction of the crew being there, and probably all the cameras that recorded him.
