My heart aches for SM's daughters and family. What must be going through their minds as they realize BM can't be bothered to help search, but stands on his property with a gun, warning folks to stay off his land.

Holy cow.
I was just thinking about those poor girls. I have NO doubt in my mind that BM is poisoning their thoughts on this whole search.

I’m sure he’s telling them that they will try to frame him if anything is found and Other BS along the same line. It’s so sad. My heart hurts for them.

Andy says people around there are scared and he has been hearing things. He says tomorrow is going to be very interesting.
.

Was there any more context to this comment?

There appears to be a lot of smoke around: locals know more than they are saying, locals are scared. This has come up too many times in the past few months for it to just be nothing.

Barry was at his house/property today and was putting up trail cameras with a shot gun and Andy said that he told the searchers that they were getting to near his property. Per PE right now.

DA should take this information to a judge and get another search warrant.

If that happens, it’s one of the best outcomes ever for this search. If I were the DA, I’d try to get that done tonight.

A search warrant for all the acres...

I need to ask a question and hope someone can help me. How would i best go about uploading pics to thread? I usually run into a error msg as file too big to upload. I have no pics yet, but will tomorrow. Would like to figure out tonight how to best share images. ;)

I cannot upload photos either.

I honestly don’t believe SM’s remains are on the Morphew property. I’m also not surprised by BM’s adversarial position against searchers near his property. Predictable. IMO

Too aggro for my taste. And the locals will have a sense of whether this is the common sense way to keep people searching for one’s wife off of the wife’s (jointly owned) property.

I understand “adversarial” but “shotgun-toting?” With LE nearby and with devoted neighbors trying to search?

Yikes.

The Sheriff didnt share any of their information :(

Andy says tomorrow is going to be amazing, in information and searches.

He's stirred up a hornet's nest, he says.

Ha! That sounds exactly right. This guy is a hot tempered bully, and having people walking around his property is his worst nightmare.

I’m not the least bit surprised.
this info of BM warning searchers w/ a shotgun straped on his shoulder was being reported all late afternoon on s.m. and I said to myself-
Can't be true, he's not that stupid, is he?
LE will pull out all the stops now to get him arrested, they don't like arrogant bullies who off their wife.
It's coming Barry, it's coming.

OMG.
Did I hear Barry was hanging around in a certain area with a shotgun?

You most certainly did.
Guarding his private property with a shotgun.
As one does, when his wife goes mysteriously missing and her brother leads the charge to organize a volunteer search. o_O

A person exercising his right to keep others off of his property hardly constitutes probable cause to believe that criminal activity is afoot.

I fear for those daughters. :(

I'm not worried about their physical safety. They're safe in that regard, I think.

From a mental/emotional standpoint, I can't imagine how they'll manage to be anything other than complete train wrecks for the rest of their lives.

Denial is a powerful defense mechanism, but it can't hold reality at bay forever.

And the reality here is horrific.

THIS ^^^ !

Tbh, I feel like LE would've already found her if she was anywhere on that property. Trying not to get my hopes up too much.
But what if something else was found that proves BM was busy hiding/burying things ?
What reason could he come up with ?
You know he's make up something, like LE planted it or some such.
Imo.

I don’t know, it’s a 7 acre property in the wilderness. Bodies have been hid on the murders property when that property is small or urban for longer than SM has been missing.

Also, if I’m BM and SM is not on the property, I want searchers looking all around and wasting their time there. It keeps them from searching other viable areas. On the other hand, if she was on the property I might be hanging trail cams and threatening searchers with a shot gun too.

Goosebumps and chills here.
What if tomorrow is the day she's found ?

On another note ; BM can certainly prevent people from going on his property to look for Suzanne or evidence-- but he can't bar them from being next to his property and making a visual inspection !
I'm sure LE are interested in his reactions , since they've been busy ruining BM's life and all that....
Nothing like making it obvious how much you care about your wife.
Smh.
Imo.
Just when I think BM will surely stay off the grid during the search, he goes and completely out does himself.

Why in the world would you NOT tell the searchers to come and inspect everything- just find my MISSING wife!! Or at least, you know, the lions den!!
No words...

Trying not to get my hopes up too much only to have them dashed, but that's a smaller concern compared to
how her brother is feeling. :(

You know he'll make up something, like LE 'planted it' or some flimsy excuse.
Imo.

Maybe they found an old cooler...

No. But it does show Barry’s character (flaws), and what his mindset is.

You have all these people donating their time and energy to finding your missing wife, and you greet them not with a “thank you” and a smile, but a warning and a gun.

What a jerk.

Andy says what they turned over (what they found today) might point back toward the home.

Wow.
