Lots of local news coverage on the search all day today in Denver. Leading stories on all stations. The Mayor had a news conference to update on Covid testing - Lauren was covering that story. IMO there is going to be a very good reason she is staying away.

As the first day of searching is drawing to a close I hope all the searchers are proud of what they accomplished today.

Tomorrow is another day as they move to another area and start all over again. Andy must be so proud of all of them to sacrifice their time to come and help him search for Suzanne.

It is such a vast land to search and best of luck for tomorrow. Rest well tonight.

Ok, let's relick that calf.
All speculation here.
Suzanne's conversation with her friend is interrupted 8 am Sat. This is when he killed her, broke her phone. He probably hid her in a cooler in the garage.

Next he needs to appear to be going about a normal day and be seen in town for an alibi, as was the Broomfield job, thinking that would fool everyone.

Perhaps he had planned to work at the Salida site on Saturday. Regardless, he picks up MG and goes there. All the while, he is devising his cover-up plans. By 11 he is freaking out a little and has determined what his next step will be, so he cuts MG loose.

But he still makes sure that he's seen around town that afternoon lollygagging. He thinks this also fools everyone. What murderer could possibly kill his wife, then work half a day and wander around town as if nothing unusual had happened?

But MG says he was acting weird. And JP wasn't sure that the job BM pitched was legit, and called him the next day to verify that it was. So perhaps JP noticed that weirdness too.

Of course,BM never worried that those "meth heads" would be smarter than he. Much less that they would dare to voice any doubts his actions and demeanor.

Before dark, he would have cleaned the home with bleach. Maybe he thought to stage minor things to make it look like Suzanne had been puttering around the house. His brilliant idea to login to her FB account with his phone turned out to be NOT.
The Broomfield job also fizzled out as an alibi when he failed to set it up and left a hotel room bleachy.
Moo
Just jumping off your post with an idea I've had - if BM killed SM at home, would he leave her there while being gone/working/running errands? He would have to be reassured that daughters wouldn't be home early from camping trip and/or that daughters or neighbor or friend may be trying to contact SM but she is not answering her phone calls and/or text messages and that none of those people may not show up in person to check on SM? IMO, that would he taking a huge risk to leave her home alone after he incapacitated/killed her??

Right! That was the last ping. Moo

Apologies if I missed this conversational topic. The idea of having a conversation about a wedding at 8am doesn't compute for me. For some reason it just seems like that wouldn't be the sort of topic you'd jump out of bed to discuss at length via text. IMO

Also weird that the time of phone death keeps changing. IMO

I wonder if two bear traps on someone's feet while tied between two trees would make them talk. How frustrating for the family. I swear I'd end up arrested myself if this was my loved one. I admire AM for his composure.

Yes. But a friend most definitely might text a besty or good friend on the morning of a wedding just to talk about it. So its just not knowable what the police have.

Also the time difference needs to be taken into account. And it may not have been only texting but possibly setting up zoom or something similar to join the Covid wedding. moo

I would and I did.
A year ago one of my daughters got married. I was up on the phone at 6am with friends for 2 days before the wedding.
Its real.....

I have to keep reminding myself that Colorado is in a different time zone. I assume it was 10 a.m. for the friend.

I’ve thought through that myself. It makes me think he killed her Friday night, disposed of the body that night/early AM, and SM’s phone was turned off at 8am when BM left for work.

Hmm was looking around on that tracking app and one of the people searching is TS, BM’s friend. Unless it is a different TS...

MOO.

Simple. Suzanne messaged no one on Saturday.

She couldn't.

How do you see this info? I see the markers but no details on who the searchers are.

ETA: Thanks, got it now.

Yes as many of you have been saying this search tracking app is pretty neat.
If SM is not found this week I hope there’s a way where this can stay up and people who decide to search can log in and just keep adding their tracks to the map over time.
SM you will be found and justice will be served!!

eta @MassGuy you can click on the tracks for name and details. I haven’t found the person they’re talking about but there’s a tiny bit of info available.

You have to zoom way in until you see all the individual “footprints.” You can click on each one and find their username but if you scroll down it gives their full name. He is in one of the most westward groups, outside of Garfield, near 50.
