I can't believe that's what he meant. He doesn't have a soul that generous. I have no idea what he meant, except maybe he was playing to his church followers and trying, unsuccessfully, to appear deeply spiritual. Pfft. Moo
I meant it more as if to excuse himself if he truly is guilty of disappearing her and much more apparently according to AM...

You may be in the legal field but I have to say I disagree. He had the road to the home blocked and was walking the property line in a passive aggressive way. Maybe that specific behavior means nothing, certainly in a vacuum it doesn't. When you then consider it's his wife missing and he isn't helping? This is erratic, irrational and certainly lends itself to believe he has no concerns in finding his wife nor the responsible parties that have murdered her. It also, tips his hand to his poor judgment and decision making. I understand LS may have not been there today for her own safety. Does anyone know more? I've had little to no cell signal today.

This is MOO, his behavior causes so many red flags I can't even elaborate.

I apologize if this is scattered. That is how i'm feeling. It's much easier doing this from your living room.
Thank you for going out to the search, I am saying this from myself & anyone else who wishes they could be there helping!

I think maybe blood is the only reason for the bleach use. I mean you can't just put that stuff on anything... it will cause color fade/change.
Incapacitated at home, taken elsewhere, then more bleach at hotel for cleanup of self, vehicle and 'tools'. White hotel towels don't change colors.
True, but bleach does not remove blood evidence entirely. A better cleaner is Oxyclean. If done right, it will remove blood from fabric and other surfaces to the point it will no longer react with agents such as Luminol or Blue Star. JMHO

so how would that fit with the abrupt end of the conversation with the friend - assuming it was at 8am ? come on a bike ride with me now? spill something that needs a bleach clean up ? they are on bikes riding and he rams her bike? I don't see this myself. considering he then picked up MG at 9am and they worked until 11am. all on saturday? I'm still thinking she was knocked out at 8am and there was blood - he put her in a cooler and then went to pick up MG - clean up began at 11am and then she was taken ___________and left or my alternative theory - in any case, I don't see a bike ride together Saturday morning.

I missed this - where did the 9am pick up time come from?

Yes, he is really good with excuses, I agree.

From same article:

The Denver Gazette

Law enforcement investigators told The Denver Gazette that her turquoise bike helmet was found nearby days later.

BBM

Did we know that?

Nope, and Andy, nor Profiling Evil nor anywhere in this case that I've heard of that her turqoise bike helmet was found, and they were told by LAW ENFORCEMENT, vs even a leak from a searcher.

Doesn't make sense to me??

I question if this is BREAKING news that no one has never heard of, or if the author is incorrect.

How could this get by every one else, and no one else is even quoting or commenting on? I do hope true, or retracted or ?? explained as if not, this station is bad as to credibility.

MOO.

I'm sure someone will follow up?

This post is from 10:00 am today that I'm coming across trying to catch up and it's 12:30.... so perhaps others have contacted the paper/writer and clarified.

I seem to never get it right to start at the end of a thread and go backwards (and miss mod notes to all) or start forwards and be behind 5 pages

ETA: Behind 10 pages not 5... durn...

Oviedo, thanks to you and other great posters keeping us up to date on the searches and the latest news. It’s disgusting to me that BM would not help search and that he would try to intimidate searchers with his rifle or to say AM is searching as a publicity stunt.

BM has lost all respect, if there was any left from anyone out there.

Whether this was a killing of abuse or about illegal drug use/sales, his days are numbered. As much as I think he hid Suzanne really well, I am hoping she is found and he can face justice soon.
Bringing this post over I think you meant it for her main thread @Love Never Fails

I chalked it up to someone in LE finally leaking information

I’d modify that a tad to, he leaves MG after dropping her off, heads home for about noon, suggests they go get some take out and go on a hike, somewhere like a high peak or check out some local mine. With Suzanne gone, he drives into Salida for some shopping, hooking up with JP to plan the alibi in Broomfield and then heads home. Waits till dark to stage the bike and helmet. On to the Salida job site to bury the phone (or pieces of it) and maybe even her ring.

I know, a bit out there but we really are grasping for how this all went down that Saturday. MOO
Where is the news about the communication ending at 8 am and not 12:30 pm? I seem to have missed that?

Oh thank you. Yes I’m going back and forth between both. I’m reading but not posting much. I so appreciate all of you. I know we all wish we were there in person. I’m certainly praying for everyone searching. God bless them!

He could have washed his bloody clothes with the bleach. LOTS of bleach. Something tells me he wouldn’t have a lot of know-how about the best product to use to remove blood from laundry.

Actually, I doubt he did much laundry at all. That was Suzanne’s job, in his macho mind.

I’ve read it too, but can’t link it at the moment. I “think” it was spoken by AM but not 100% on that. Anyone else?

news is coming in fast, and the thread's starting to boogie, so sorry if this has been posted, but info about the texts in this one.

Search continues for missing Colorado mother. (The Gazette)

"A friend spoke to Morphew over social media the day she went missing about an upcoming wedding, some hours later she made several posts that family and friends said were "out of character," according to the organization helping to lead search efforts."
If 8am is when she was killed. 11am when BM left MG and went home to make the wife happy, would be right on the dot "several hours later."

And didn't PE guys say it was social media posts? I think so.

  • #874
But that makes perfect sense, if by chance he really was going home to make her happy by hiking or biking. It doesn't explain an anomaly in her texting at 8 am, but maybe there is another explanation for that, we still don't know if it was in mid sentence or it was a lack of answering. And they have been all over the clock with varying times for that anyway.
It's always seemed logical to me that he took her from the house and killed her elsewhere, maybe even having a grave already dug, or a plan for a certain mine shaft. He could have killed her at 8, hid her temporarily then finished the job in the evening.
I wasn't for that, but, AM did use the words "she was abducted." Which I thought was strange wording.
Hmmm...

Just made me think, was he wearing that gawd awful wife beater and baggy shorts that day?? If LE have video of him wearing that outfit on May 9th, they should promptly take it into evidence. I’d love to see that! SW for the wife beater :p:D Strip him down then and there! Maybe that’s why BM is wearing it in every photo of him we’ve seen, sans 26 sec. video, pretending to care about where SM is and wanting her back “so bad.” What a fraud! MOO

The Denver Gazette

From the article: BBM

(snip)

"Over 100 people dressed in hiking shoes and prepared for a daylong effort found “a suspicious item” near Salida in their search for evidence related to a Mayfield woman’s disappearance, according to her brother."

"Andy Moorman says he can’t reveal what the item is, but he told The Denver Gazette that he has turned it over to authorities and is confident that the volunteers will have some answers by the time their five-day search is over as to what happened to Suzanne Morphew."

(snip)

"He told The Denver Gazette that he believes Suzanne was mentally abused."

She wasn’t in control of the marriage,” Moorman said."

(snipped)

JMO...BM your days as a free man are coming to an end!! Thank you God for answering everyone's prayers and hopes by showing us another clue :). It is just a matter of time now, the doors are closing in...;)

For those of us who have been scratching our heads about the PE map that showed a trail of pink dots leading out west of Puma Path on hw 50 and ended up in a tight little ziggy zaggy near No Name Creek:
Today's map shows a search group that went West on hw 50 crossed Monarch Pass, dropping south, then took a hard right and started north up in the direction of No Name Creek.

Recently AM said the texting ended at 8:00 am, but it sounds like he's not sure. A couple of weeks ago he clarified that it was 12:30 pm, and initially it was at 9:00 pm.

I'm starting to think there may have been more than one friend communicating with Suzanne that day. We don't know if Andy spoke directly to the friend she was texting with about the wedding or exactly what information she gave him. The time has changed three times and keeps getting earlier for some reason.

We also don't know for sure that the house smelled strongly of bleach. I think AM said he heard that from someone else who said they heard it from LE.
I've been on the fence about the "bleach odor in the home" comment since I first read it.
It'll be interesting to see how that figures in to what we learn later. Or, if it does at all.
