Just curious- has anyone been able to follow today’s real-time search on the ArcGis app ? I can access yesterday’s search(9/24) but not today’s. I wonder if there is a reason they might be keeping it private/only available to searchers/people who sign in. Hmmm..
Maybe they don’t want BM knowing exactly where they are. He’s very unstable at the moment. Best to keep him in the dark with the mushrooms and feed him ___. I love fill in the blanks! :)

MOO I don't think it's drugs. Since early August I have wondered about a connection to Indiana's multi-million dollar Medicaid Kickback Scheme which might explain the quick involvement of a federal DA and the FBI. I was skimming the 8/4/2020 Indianapolis Star articles about it and happened to see that a landscaper was involved. Barry sold his small landscaping company before retirement age for a million plus a percentage. Hmmm...

Indiana nursing home fraud claims more extensive than previously known

Well then. Hmmm indeed.
I didn't realize there was a federal DA involved in SM's case.
Sheriff Spezze mentioned in one of the CCSO updates that the FBI was involved due to their evidence specialists, extending their resources in that area for assistance.
This is very interesting information though.

Is there proof of a Federal DA being involved?

I can view trackers and heatmaps but no longer able to see 'tracks' made.
Actually, I just found a map with this info but will not share since it appears this info may not be public anymore.

The software dashboard they demo'd last night on P.E. is a different piece of software, one that the public does not have access to, so the little target icons with summaries of items tagged, that we saw appear in the margins of the dashboard, is not something anyone using the ArcGIS Explorer app (which is what the public can use) would see.

The people participating in the search ('boots on the ground') are using a different app altogether to track their movements and tag and photograph things they find. The Explorer app we can use just allows the view of the map with some allowed elements.

ETA: on the web client I'm only able to see Tracker icons and Points of Interest.

Last night there was at least one post on social media that included a screenshot of a list of specific items that were found. There’s no way PE would have approved this.

I imagine that’s why the app is not being updated.

I can't tell you how disconcerting it is that either, one of the search party members shared this info on social media (I really hope that is NOT the case) or that some creep on social media just made up the screenshot and it's not real (because that happens EVERY day on social media, in literally every single case I've ever looked at over there.)

I'm going to vote that it was fake. Only because the alternative just ticks me off even more.

I didn't look at it when it was live to the public but when everyone was commenting about where searchers were - I didn't think it was really a good idea for anyone and everyone to see. If it's been locked down to only approved searchers - that makes me feel better. IMO
I agree, as much as I liked looking at it. Last night they still showed that red mark which meant something was found. When I looked this morning it was gone, and I think it was CM who commented on taking those off in the future. I particularly didn't like the feature where the individual searcher could be placed by name. Although of course I'm not there. On the PE show, that's probably what they meant by signing up right away, before noon today, IIRC.

BBM And there it is - Confirmation of Domestic Abuse - this is what we have all speculated was happening. The only reason SM would be working Domestic Abuse Meetings was because of her own circumstances. This is so disturbing to see in black and white. He would have never consented to just letting her walk away! MOO

Praying today is the day something huge breaks!
Actually, this may not be new info. I recall from several months ago that SM "liked" a charity on her FB that supported recovery and abuse issues.

Ok, thanks... just saw other posts re the app. I thought it was just me. I wasn’t at all comfortable knowing EVERYONE and ANYONE could be privy to the real time tracking. I’m so relieved they removed the “ no sign up” requirement.

Unfortunately it is real. I spoke to someone on the search and they confirmed that they had seen it, and everyone who went had access to it.

It’s absolutely inevitable, as you’re going to have people participating who are very active in Facebook groups.

That’s the downside of this, and I’m sure we’ll hear more tidbits later today.

Okay so... who's the FB smarty pants around here?

I'm just now seeing on SM's FB page, her last "check in" was a check in at Alexandria Indiana on 05.17.20

Log into Facebook | Facebook

Why in the world would someone login to her FB and "check in" with her account when she'd been missing for a week? (Has this come up before, and I missed it entirely?)

I can see the full detail record on a tracker icon (web client) by clicking on the icon and then clicking on "edit."

Honestly, I wonder if that was LE?

With a guy like BM as the “alleged” suspect, that does give me concern too, that he is privy to the names of each searcher. What if some of his friends, or former friends are involved? BM is not a rational man. He has guns, shoots game and has a mean streak when he’s feeling cornered. Maybe that explains AM’s statement about locals being scared?? MOO
