Thank you for the helpful recap! I don't always have time to search/find/listen to the updates.

Question: The statement begins with a mention of law enforcement and then says "they have run out of time, money & resources to do ground searches" (emphasis added). Does the "they" in question refer to (a) Andy and his searchers or (b) CCSO?
CCSO

The video I'm seeing (vigil) on my computer laptop with a high speed connection is very choppy. Anyone else?

Yes, sound isn’t great, WiFi connection seems spotty & maybe interrupted. I’m watching on my iPad.

I've always felt the "baby blue bike helmet" was the item found. And the scrawled note indicated to me that BM was desperate for it to be found in order to bolster the bike riding scenario.

LE was able to identify the item as definitively belonging to SM because of her photo wearing said helmet that was first released. No doubt provided by BM himself.

He got a little too cute there.

It also bolstered the "abducted" scenario, because it was found away from the bike and lions do not carry and drop things. Or, a hitchhiking scenario...IMO.

Which BM also seemed to use in that video.

I have not been able to follow along today... Anything in particular you guys want me to check out?

how are you searchers feeling? it has to be very hard. I assume some or many went to the vigil, but you must all be exhausted. I hope you are all well.

And maybe all light a candle.
Yes I’ve lit a candle for Suzanne. I’m on the East Coast sitting here wishing I could be at the Vigil. My thoughts and prayers are with Suzanne’s daughters, AM and the Moorman family tonight. I can’t imagine their pain, and how conflicted the daughters must be feeling. It is utterly heartbreaking, tears are flowing....

BBM
ITA - I think after he did the deed and reality struck him HARD, he cried about it first and then went into panic, sloppy-cover up mode.

IMO At that point, I could see him reaching out to a couple of buds in a franctic state and in their tested loyalty to him, feeling sorry for him, they reacted by helping not only dispose of her body (because let’s say one bud has a military background and experience with the lay of the land) but also attempt to tighten an alibi (because let’s say the other bud is good with PR and pushing a narrative). Everyone had a role to follow through on at that point.
Agree, and at this point his buds/criminal accomplices are questioning their wisdom in helping/aiding and abetting BM in his crime, even if it might have been after the fact.

IMO, his buds know a lot more than we do right now. They might want to reconsider their loyalty to BM. Would any of them want to serve time in prison to help old Bar in the murder of his wife?

I can’t help but notice what the lower part of his truck (looks like it) says, below the license plate...

Even his own possessions are calling him out.
LOL!

I’m not a fan of a scenario like this.

If you hire someone to kill your wife, then you make sure you have an alibi, as that’s the whole point. It negates the need to stage a bicycle, or move the timeline via deception.

Apparently Suzanne stopped communicating at 8am on Saturday morning. That tells me that she was either murdered Friday night (and Barry pretended to be her), or just before Barry left for the Salida job site (I believe Lauren said he arrived at 9).

The window that Barry is suspected of hiding Suzanne’s body, is allegedly 3.5 hours. That tells me there is unexplained activity on his part, or he suspiciously dropped off the grid for a period of time. So it looks like he’s connected to the dumping of the body.

This whole thing looks to me like the act of one man, who not only doesn’t know anything about how crimes are committed, but was likely in a panic as well.

I think he got one thing right, and that’s why we haven’t seen charges thus far. He was able to effectively conceal Suzanne’s body.

If he did have any help, I think it was after the fact. I don’t think it was necessary though.

I think this drug stuff is a red herring. I think he’s the killer.

On one hand, I see where you're coming from because -- if Barry did have help -- I'm not sure that those involved would've remained silent during all this time. As Poor Richards Almanac said, "Three can keep a secret if 2 of them are dead."

But what're the odds that Barry -- who didn't grow up in Chaffee County, has only lived there about 2 years, & did a poor job with everything else -- is able to conceal a body so adeptly without any help whatsoever such that CCSO, CBI, working dogs cannot find it?

Do we know if that pic of BM with the bobcat is from today?
We do not. CM gave zero info about the contents of the pic.

The shade BM has being thrown at him....just wow: the Sheriff at the vigil: the husband: MIA....yep...

AM has been saying quite specific things - I don't doubt he's got the A-OK from LE to do so...he'd never jeopardize the investigation otherwise...

And yes - Suzanne Morphew - bright light, let her shine

& please don't forget her daughters: SM would hate for them to have to go through this, two bright stars in their own right. I cannot imagine the conflicted feelings & grief they are suffering through :(

Agreed, it's very heartbreaking for Suzanne's daughters. :(
None of this had to happen.
So senseless.
And the daughters may have to come to terms one day and find forgiveness in their hearts and that'll be the hardest part !

Or they knew of his plans but 'Moe' was too dumb to organize and execute it and 'Larry' and 'Curly', being the clucks that they are, just played follow the leader.
Respectfully, I’m not comfortable with us bashing anyone, just because they are BMs friends, as such they would have known SM. I find it very unbelievable that they would involve themselves in any way with regards to SMs body. I keep reminding myself, the people closest to BM were also close to SM, imo, they would not allow him to get away anything, for SMs sake.
Is it possible they know a lot more than we still don’t know?

Last night on the P.E. show Andy said today was going to be so exciting and he couldn't wait and he/they found some things, etc., etc. It doesn't sound like anything exciting happened today... ??

The items that were found and tagged yesterday near the Morphew property was not anything that CCSO or CBI thought was connected to the case. IMO

To me, the chances are high in that terrain that i have been able to see pictures of, thanks to @NoSI
So many places...

Oh, man.

I knew this was going to happen.

Chris from PE just alluded to the fact that some people who are staying in the area "embedded themselves in the search" and were "reporting back to other people."

I didn't mention names. I have my suspicions but kept them to myself, ergo, the characters.
I loved the three stooges as a kid. I'm sorry if I offended you. Didn't mean to. :)

I’m following several missing/located women on WS currently - the ones arrested all were stupid enough to leave a trail of gps and cell phone data not to mention caught on video - he has skills involving heavy equipment (Bobcat- wood chipper), big boulders, And outdoor hunting so if he disappeared her I’m very confident she won’t be found and if she is - well -it will be similar to little Caylee - minus the duct tape

I'm hoping to clear some things up from my last post regarding M's seemingly endless supply of money which I have never felt is connected to drugs.

I have wondered for many months now if there was more to this case than possible domestic abuse/violence. My reference to the Indy Star article regarding the Medicaid Kickback Scheme included a landscaper who is not BM. My inference is that BM possibly knew this landscaper. This is a huge fraud case with lots and lots of players involved. I have wondered if BM is a small fish in a big, trickle-down pond that maybe also flowed over TN and GD. I really can't imagine any other way that BM would have received a million dollars plus income for a small landscaping business based in Arcadia, Indiana, population 1700.

Also, I may have misspoken about the prosecutor. I cannot find the post regarding this, but I thought it was in the same thread that included a post referring to former Pueblo County Sheriff Dan Corsentino who is now private investigator.

Investigator explains FBI's involvement in Chaffee County missing woman case - KRDO

Clear as mud now? ;)

I also suspected that 'friends' might be involved who would report back.
