The beach house?!? I never made it there yet. Wow...
Not sure. I think AM had a plan. Not sure as they are skirting around some details.

IMO, I would prefer a passive alert vs. a dog that throws its body around, scratches, etc. at the target odor & potentially disturbs evidence.

Very interesting.
Thank you for checking in @K9Enzo

According to AM, a veteran cadaver dog hit on the beach area. Three passive hits.

He called FBI. Scene has been turned over.

Bam.

I love your posts.

Wow, if this spot at the riverfront is where SM's remains were placed (OR as Chris says, where a piece of equipment was used that had earlier been used to dispose of those remains elsewhere), that would explain why BM got JP and MG working at a location in Broomfield far away from that riverfront site late Sunday and also why BM got so nasty about MG and JP talking with LE.

Chris says more areas will be processed. Location of them is confidential.

Chris said “2 dogs sat down and that means a full hit”. Then he said they won’t discuss it further. Great news though.

Around 750 registered searchers supposedly out there today.

WOW.

First of all. Lets take a moment to give it up for dogs. Cadaver dogs, pet dogs, whatever.

Dogs > humans. We don’t deserve them.

So happy to hear this potentially promising news.

Yes, feel discouraged/sad/irritable/emotional since yesterday. Can't shake it.... Need to cry and that may help release some of this. It's too much land to find her if there are no solid leads... :(

Maybe, but PE guys said they are finding things that are being taken into evidence. Over 700 searchers. Valuable work happening there! Even if she’s not found.

Thank you for checking in @K9Enzo

I need to listen to the PE episode everyone is referring to so I can hear them describe what happened. I threw an opinion out there based on one comment. lol I’m off....

Question for anyone. why did LE not search this beach area with dogs before? Or am I confused and it was an area not known before?but

but why hasn’t LE searches there in past four months?

A passive hit is when a dog does not have a direct scent source. So the dog does not sit down and goes back to the handler. In a non-passive hit the dog sits down. The dog at the Salida beach site kept going back to the handler even though Andy used a prod to try to get some scent to come out of the ground. The dog did alert to something but could not find the source. IMO, That could mean that Suzanne May have been there or that the digger or tools used to move the rocks came in contact with her deceased body.

In regards to the dog hits on the beach area today:

According to PE, this is a veteran dog that has had lots of success in the past. The same applies to the handler.

The dog hit on an area, returned to its handler, hit on the same place, returned to the handler, and hit on it again. So three hits on the same location.

Andy contacted the CBI and FBI, who debriefed the handler for about 30 minutes.

The scene has been turned over to them, and Andy believes they will be processing it.

Pic does not show the area very well. I apologize. But this is where bike was found... Where pink tape is.

Andy believes the focused on the construction area, and not that beach area. If you think about it, the construction site itself seems to make the most sense.

You’d have a body buried under dirt, covered in concrete, with a structure on top of it.

I have no inside information, but my guess is that they got the tip about the heavy machinery running Friday or Saturday night and that concrete foundation was poured that next week, so the logical inference would be that the remains or some kind of related evidence was placed where that foundation was going to be poured by someone who knew when that foundation was going to be poured.

Also, it is really STUPID to bury remains next to a river because remains decompose and those decomposition fluids would be wicking toward that river.

The same beach that MG raked Saturday morning and they left at 11am? So he could make his wife happy? Just trying to keep my properties straight

Got it. Thank you so much. There have been so many discussions and I get confused.

Correct. The location that was subject of the 3 day search. The homeowner gave them permission to search there again.

ETA: Andy said “neighbor” gave permission.
