What they’re doing takes a lot of coordination. I think this is really the only way to go about this. They’re the facilitators, getting the word out. I think they are more effective behind a computer screen, than on the ground.

It's been interesting following the searchers and their tracks in the ArcGIS app.

Lots of data there to peruse!

It could just be nebby neighbors. Some here were even logging in.
Re. The PE guys noted that these "spies" are currently staying and operating out of BM's house and they were spotted right away. It does make you wonder why these people, whomever they are, would interject themselves into the middle of a missing person/murder investigation and whether there is something more nefarious going on?

In the last couple of days he has:
1. Put up a barricade to the property entrance
2. Surrounded the property with cameras
3. Spotted patrolling the perimeter with a shotgun
4. Hosting a group (not sure how many) of people to embed themselves with and watch the searchers

What's next, a watch tower, razor wire, spot lights?

That's right!! I've watched so many YouTube updates this evening, so I'm not certain who said it--I'm thinking it was Profiling Evil. They said that Barry sold his old truck and bought a new one. This truck in the picture today is the new one. Looks like he sprung some money for the CO Firefighter Vanity Plate.
bbm
Yeah that's irksome.
BM is acting like Suzanne is gone and life goes on.
Cold. :(
Imo.

Yes, but not well. I went to school with her older siblings and our families were close.

MOO I don't think BM is smart enough to launder anything on his own...
Hell, he couldn’t launder his own clothes.

Ha! I don’t think the man who called this search “a publicity stunt,” would care enough to have any “proxy representation.”

This is the same guy who couldn’t be bothered to attend the press conference, hold his own, or organize a search.

The same man who instead of warmly greeting the people searching for his wife, decided to point out where his property line was, with a gun.

As one does.

Big fat “nope” on this one.

I thought the brother of the missing person has talked about searches being conducting early on by the family and those involved the spouse of the missing person?

Being scared but yet letting it out where she's going/relocating to?
Whoever she is afraid of would be able to find out where she moved to if they looked hard enough. She isn’t in a witness protection program. Jmo

Watch where they search, list who is searching, list all the conversations, pretty dang hair raising, to me.

It was sad... not sure if i am just tired and emotional tonight, but felt profoundly sad when I left vigil and still do. 2 prayers and inbetween the two Andy spoke. I didn't see BM or daughters, but i could have missed. I do feel she was isolated here... No best friend or friend went to speak on stage. No daughter... nothing... i am sad guys...

I hope it helps to share your sadness. Your words made me feel it deeply. I can't even imagine how sad it is that Suzanne had so few family and friends to be there, to speak of her.

Sleep well, you're the best.

Tater is a sweet little Italian Greyhound in Salida with my husband. :)
I saw him at the tail end of one of the news videos, such a cutie!

Yes. It’s not as if he could stay home and grill his peanut butter, while Andy and the rest of the family went out to search.

Now he’s out there wizzing around on his dirt bike, ostensibly to search for Suzanne.

It’s like playing “Hunt the Thimble.” Except the thimble is a body, and Barry hid it.

I'm so very sorry that you're saddened by the vigil. It was extremely kind and loving of you to make the trip to Salida to help in the search for Suzanne. The sorrow emanating from the vigil was made worse because none of Suzanne's immediate family was there. That had to be such a huge letdown after so much hopefulness of finding her today. Please know that your efforts are appreciated. Thank you for everything you're doing to help. May God bless your efforts.

I agree but just one of them being physically with Andy in Colorado would be a huge support. He needs someone standing with him. This is my observation from states away.

On top of mountain above vigil... changed from "S" to a heart... tonight "S" was not for Salida, but for Suzanne...
How beautiful!

I did not expect Andy to find his sister, but I am experiencing this whole weird thing because I expected Lauren to be in Salida, or someone besides Andy who would speak for Suzanne. Once again, I feel like Barry wins, and Suzanne loses. Barry keeps the upper hand, and manipulates the situation so Suzanne is diminished. All of these people are here for a Suzanne. Yet Barry made them lesser. I hope karma wins in the end.
I too expected to be hearing from Lauren this week end. Feeling cheated.

Yes. And Suzanne was not found, so the brother thought it would be good to search again, especially as much more information has come in since the first search. The official search for Suzanne did not include the spouse of the missing person. The spouse says he conducted his own search, but there is no record of it and no publicity.

This time, there is a family-sponsored search with publicity and some tech back-up, as we all hoped would be the case - but the spouse of the missing person did not use the funds they raised for the search to do anything like this.

The spouse has therefore not searched alongside volunteers or LE. He does his own thing.

So it is not true that all "those searches" conducted early on included the spouse - he was barred from the LE search, along with his fellow firefighters. Suzanne's brother did come to search earlier, but did not stay with the spouse and it's not clear they searched together.

It's not clear that the spouse searched at all.

PE and Andy have generated the participation of more than 500 searchers, and more are scheduled to be added tomorrow, for the weekend. Chris and Mike went on Court TV today to talk about the search, and Chris said he has 2 more media interviews over the weekend. PE has connected with popular crime sites like Dutyron, Its a crime, and WS too......and they share information about Andy's search with their own viewers. I do believe altogether that means >100k subscribers, roughly. Why should they leave their studios, and go to a place with spotty wifi and try to do all of the valuable publicity and logistics from Salida with some laptop in a motel?

PE are doing more than most. Andy has many people standing with him and beside him.
I donated to the search as I couldn't be there.
I wish everyone would appreciate all of their efforts.

Andy's best friend from over the last 30 years is right there with him, standing right by him even in the nightly videos, searching with him.

So what do hear as far as scuttle butt from your home town. What are the theories being talked about ? In small communities there are always opinions and theories. @Ontario Mom would this be allowed?
