It seemed clear to the brother of the missing person as he described various searches the family conducted that involved the spouse of the missing person. I do not understand the need to claim the spouse of the missing has not done anything to look for the missing person, when there is some evidence to the contrary...IMO

Whether he has done enough or the right things is certainly up for discussion...IMO.

The lack of involvement of the children of the missing person in these searches and the vigil tonight is telling regarding certain family dynamics. Much like a two day delay in answering a happy birthday text...IMO
Wow.What is “ telling” about a sister who doesn’t reply to a birthday text until Saturday when it was sent to her on Thursday? Geez... I have an older brother who I never call on his birthday, he hates his birthday so much that I call him the day after. It’s been a joke with us for years. And everyone who’s ever met us says they have never ever known siblings as close as us. JMO

For some reason I can't pull the photo up. What do the letters say?
The reference is actually to the undercarriage of the truck, not anywhere close to the license. There are several letters in white but only 3 are visible beginning with a, ending with s.

Oh, man.

I knew this was going to happen.

Chris from PE just alluded to the fact that some people who are staying in the area "embedded themselves in the search" and were "reporting back to other people."

JMO.

per tonight's PE:

-didn't chris also say the barry brigade downloaded the search app but were not searching?

ya think they know that means PE can now track their GPS movements?! (chris even said "unfortunately for them, they downloaded the app." i'm betting they didn't think far enough ahead about that one! :D

ETA: (i'm just re-listening to PE, so i might add a few more thoughts.)

-what about barry's new truck being bought in indiana? WHEN did barry go to indiana? i suppose he could have paid somebody to drive the truck to him, but that's curious. (tyson did say barry's truck had indiana plates all the way back in may).

A killer walks in their streets”: Brother of missing woman Suzanne Morphew speaks at vigil on Day 2 of search

CHAFFEE COUNTY, Colo. — Volunteers from throughout the state and country continued their search for missing person Suzanne Morphew on day two of the six-day volunteer search, and ending the day with a candlelight vigil.

The candlelight vigil was held at 7 p.m. Friday at Riverside Park in Salida. A pastor spoke and prayed with the group as well as Andy Moorman, Suzanne’s brother, who organized the search, and spoke about his sister – thanking the crowd and volunteers in helping bring Suzanne home.

“This city is wonderful, the people in the city are wonderful, and everything they’ve done is just amazing to me. They didn’t know me, some of them knew Suzanne, but they understand what I’m doing and I think we started a movement,” said Andy Moorman.

Andy Moorman saying at the vigil to the crowd, “a killer walks in their streets,” and “their children aren’t safe.”

Earlier in the day, hundreds of people searched the area hoping to find any clues that might help solve Suzanne’s disappearance.

On Friday, FOX21 crews spotted Barry Morphew, Suzanne’s husband, on his property off County Road 225. FOX21 crews did not see Barry at the search or vigil.

The only way I think friends of BM might help him hide a body is if he gave them some kind of sob story. Like..... how they were so sure that her cancer was in remission forever so BM took a life insurance policy out on SM (with her blessing, of course) with very hefty fees but then it came back! And they were so in debt with health care costs and SM was so distraught that she committed suicide so now BM's life was circling the drain in the payout department (no payout for suicide; no payout for a returning illness) so he couldn't come out and tell the truth - come on, man! -so he had to come up with a story about an abductor or a mountain lion or a bike accident and they being his good buddies decided to help him hide her body so he could get the money to pay for his children's education and continue to be a nurturing kind of guy and throw some work their way as a thank you..... Yeah, no.

I've thought before that BM is not a criminal mastermind but he definitely hit the jackpot when it comes to living in an environment with unlimited hiding places. And he's familiar with them. Because he hunts. And he drives to places like gravel pits to pick up product for his business. And he knows his 7 acres isn't flat as a pancake like IN and borders areas with infinite numbers of hiding spots. I bet he's traversed his property many times getting the lay of the land.

Is it possible that all the desperate machinations of the iffy Broomfield job, the lack of tools and the botched hotel reservations and the frantic calls is just how BM operates? That he's not aware of the KISS principle? Yet his bungling movements have confounded LE? That for all the missteps he still appears to be home free?

BM is a pretty burly guy, surely strong enough to carry a small person like Suzanne, (fire training coming in handy) let's say for maybe a quarter mile, south bound over some rough terrain but definitely off the beaten track. He's cocky and aggressive because people aren't looking in the right place. Yet.

If you're referring to the bar under the pickup A.S.S in big white letters. Lol. That speaks for itself in my opinion.
Formerly "BOSS", I think? There is some dirt on the first letter and the second ..... IMO

I thought BM's truck was being held by LE when TD encountered him. I recall this was discussed earlier and that there were several friends from IN that had traveled to Colorado to help BM early including his mother, and this might account for why TD saw IN plates.

Also, public records for SM indicate that BM was present in Indiana late July when he appeared before a Notary in Hamilton, County Indiana.

"BOSS" is a brand of hitch. I think there was some creative use of photoshop there. :)

Trying to find a picture, so I'll say IMO for now.

ETA:I'm thrwarted looking for US Brands because I am in the UK, but I'm think the brand is BOSS or MOSS and it's probably not called a hitch. A tow bar maybe?

Must have a special significance, MOO.

I think I know what you are referring to ;)

Even so, he could just be thinking about how it feels for his own family including his father Gene whose daughter was clearly not safe.

(edited to delete a bit I’m not sure was permissible)

You are correct mate -- it's Tow Boss and a popular package on Ford trucks. :D
