I’ve been mulling this over for a few months, and I think there’s something about her outfit/accessories that will help reveal her location.

To eliminate any trace of her, one would need to dispose of a good deal of plastic materials. The bike might have been too cumbersome to destroy, hence its continued existence. But there’s also the helmet, sunglasses, and CamelBak. That helmet is arguably one of her possessions that would have the most scent; unlike clothing, it’s never washed!

The CamelBak is the most interesting piece of the puzzle for me personally. Most people I know (myself included) have a specific process for cleaning hydration systems because they get gross really fast. Now, I don’t think we’re dealing with a mastermind here. So, is it possible that her abductor failed to pay close attention to where all the bits and pieces of a disassembled CamelBak were?

You can chuck some clip shoes and riding gear in a bag and call it a day... but forgetting something like a nipple, a piece I regularly wash and lose track of on the drying rack or in the dishwasher utensil tray, is a big ol’ red flag.

MOO - There was never a bike ride by SM on MD. LE certainly never confirmed she was on a bike ride. Any “bike ride” evidence found by LE which belonged to SM was planted. My own opinion MOO

Perhaps they are taking Sunday off.
I doubt that. Yesterday they said today was going to be an interesting or exciting day, so maybe there is something major going on that is taking up their time. They did tell people to be patient. I hope we hear something soon.

As we sit and wait and hopefully get some news, I can’t help this thought in my head that I do not think Barry was into meth. I do think there could potentially be a steroid problem or alcohol issue. Much more common in a just passed middle aged man. Alcohol can really do a number on a person. His addictive tendencies could cause him to lash out onto others who use harder drugs such as meth to lessen his own addictive tendencies. That is why he claims everyone he works with are meth heads. Unless I’m looking at this incorrectly, there are no Trackers on ArcGIS Explorer at this point and not sure for how long today. Or the Trackers are hidden from view for some reason. Please look at the slider button next to Trackers under the Layers menu - it says September 26 only. If you turn that off, no trackers are Visible on the map. Tracks only are visible. Hope this makes sense...
I was watching them earlier today which seemed like real time but it's different now. It says tracking searchers from the 26th now.

I was just checking in to see if there was an update and to my dismay- nothing. Very strange indeed.

Also, wasn’t it the Vanessa Guillen case we were following that the dogs missed her, and they were in the exact location that her body was found?

Sometimes dogs miss the mark, but more times Than not, they hit the mark. JMO
Yes, the dogs did miss Vanessa -- she was buried, and had concrete poured over her. Probably enough concrete to delay the smell a bit. A couple of weeks later (IIRC), some men fixing a fence in the area could smell her. :(

Here's my take on that whole 'off property' conversation (for what it's worth).

On the latest PE video, I believe AM said he spoke with the neighbors of the property under construction and he asked if he could go through their lot to access the river's edge. They agreed. He then started snooping around the waters edge in front of the house under construction (probably with the dog and handler as well). At some point he went beyond the high water mark and actually stepped on to the property under construction (I assume the dog and handler did as well.)

He later mentioned he had got chewed out by LE. I took that to mean they gave him heck for searching private property without permission. The moment he stepped past the high water mark on to the construction property he went out of bounds. Hence his comment that he went on someone's property he shouldn't have.

AM didn't seem too concerned about it though. It was an honest mistake he said. His mind is on finding his sister.

That's what I got out of that conversation. JMO.

So a neighbor with a home under construction is mad about a few steps of incursion at the river bank?
I doubt it. Sheriff/DA must have sent deputies there to make sure no discoveries are made that would not meet the criteria of evidence in court. Which would include a search warrant of the adjacent property before a search.
MOO that's the chew out.

Who cares? He’s looking for the body of his murdered sister. Getting yelled at by cops is a non-event.
A like just wasn't enough!!!!

Be patient!?!

I'm in the refresh websleuths & SM google every other minute...

Going to have watch the stress eating & watch the scotch intake.

Feel like that character from Naked Gun, his sidekick, at the baseball game: hotdog one hand, then an ice cream cone, then popcorn, then a giant pretzel, then chugging soda etc - conveyor belt of food....
Or
Airplane: 'guess this was a bad day to stop drinking...' 'bad day to stop smoking...' 'bad day to stop sniffing glue...'

Argh............it's been a long slog for justice for SM.......cannot WAIT for that day to arrive

I'm not catholic or anything but I think AM should be sainted: what a beautiful example of love, & of a beautiful, strong man of integrity: it's the perfect antidote to the BM's of this world...

Since I just linked the above 9/11 anthropological forensic identification report, this brings to mind some of what I’ve been learning while studying all things related to fire and firefighters while watching firefighter training videos, reading infinite reports, studying various cases relating to fire, etc.

I’ve always said from the beginning, which is common sense, that imo BM’s firefighting possibly plays a strong role here somewhere, wrt to disposal, and I know there has already been much discussion about that.

I just to wanted to reemphasize the amazing capabilities and strengths of these firefighters- in these firefighting videos I’ve been watching, I am really blown away learning about what all these men and women are trained to do - all the equipment they utilize, their strength, the diversity of their training and missions, from diving to all sorts of things...Firefighters really have infinite and multifaceted knowledge and abilities.

I had also wondered previously about BM’s possible “awareness space“, as related to his firefighting (awareness space reference here: Jessica Ridgeway: Killer’s ‘awareness space’ may lead to clues - Boulder Weekly ) - So, perhaps previous remote Colorado wildfire locations, etc. may have value, or not (some possible reference material on Colorado Wildfires I’ve archived here:
Colorado Wildfires 2018 *Arrest* ).

Anyway, just some thoughts. Thanks for reading and again my apologies for being an intermittent and distant participant.

Law enforcement rarely names a POI these days. Their actions tell us who the person likely is though.

Couldn’t be more clear here, IMO.

Yes, I'd say the practice of naming a POI went by the boards quite a while ago, particularly in Colorado.

Just for funsies I went to the Chaffe County Detention center Website and unfortunately, they have an active list of a inmates for the public to check and their official policy is:

"We will only confirm that we have the inmate and what their bond status is, nothing more will be divulged regardless of your relation to the inmate."

A girl can dream right? Also this is my official announcement that until official get out duck, this will be my new avatar. Rileys cute (my fur child) but catching ducks is better

Yeah and AM just laughed it off last night when talking about it.

Getting the vibe that it’s going to be an interesting update tonight and that tomorrow might be a good day for the good guys.

No, I don't think the neighbors were mad at all. It's more the cops had to chew AM out to keep everything above board. Heck, if the owner of the house under construction was there at the time, they probably would have given AM permission. JMO

Candidly, I do hope there are major developments going on and they lead to finding Suzanne. I am worried that if she's not found soon it may be a very long time before she is. All JMO.
