Does BM have compromising photos of someone that pulls the strings? I am the antithesis of a conspiracy theorist but this is whacko.
It sure is whacko. I've never seen such a case as this one. My heart goes out to Andy. I wonder what he's doing right now?

Let's walk this through logically step by step.

Local LE, i.e, the CCSO, signaled very early on that they did not believe that SM had disappeared herself.
LE also publicly dismissed the idea that a mountain lion had attacked her.

If local LE wasn't on the up-and-up, they would have embraced the bike ride story, and concluded that she most likely had either wandered off into the woods injured and then succumbed to her injuries, or been attacked and carried off by that mountain lion seen in the area.

They would have done a few token searches, and then that would have been that.
Case closed.

That wasn't the CCSO's behavior here, though.

Instead, Sheriff Spezze called in BOTH the CBI AND the FBI very early on in the investigation.
He also mustered a vast array of resources from surrounding cities, counties, etc., as well as non-LE organizations, including, more recently, Necrosearch.

They searched the home on multiple occasions.
They dug up a foundation on a separate piece of private property.

If someone wants to explain to me why a LEA that had no interest in finding a missing woman and/or for some unknown reason wanted to coverup that crime would actively solicit the involvement of all these numerous outside agencies to assist them in their investigation, I'm all ears.

All ears.

Just make sure the explanation makes sense.

JMO.
This ! ^^^^
Thanks, GK !

Another thought is that LE could literally KNOW SM is not in the location’s that AM’s team found. So they aren’t wasting their time digging.
Welllll, does it occur to LE that since several veteran cadaver dogs have done sit-down alerts in the same spot, that maybe somebody else's body may be buried there??? And maybe the relatives of THAT person might appreciate an effort to recover THEIR loved one? Just askin'. o_O

something interesting chris said tonight: (paraphrasing most of it).

if a dog gets a hit, and LE says they have it, and then leaves it without processing, they give up the chain of custody of that scene, by not eliminate it. hypothetically, anyone can come behind them now, and do whatever they want to do.

so, let's say there were multiple people involved here, (not saying there are), and different people get arrested. you know the first thing i would do as a defense attorney? "my client didn't do it! that guy did!" well, how do you know? "because he came in later. yeah, i planted the tree, but then i wasn't around. i left.

it's creating a defense right off the bat.
I would think the amount of decomposition would come into play and who would have the objective to place her body there other than BM?
But you're correct. A defense attorney could try to create doubt but I don't think it will work. There's too many other factors at play. One of which is a history of DV. That's huge imo.

So odd. It looks like three different trees to me. The center top rock is heart shaped...

As someone who has lived in this community for 30+ years, it is difficult to read how much misinformation is being spread here. I don’t in any way intend to give anyone a hard time, just hard to see people you know talked about so salaciously.

Can you inform us what misinformation we’re spreading so it can be corrected?
Where’s Suzanne?

ITA, excellent observation.

Thanks! But if that’s the case , what possible reasons could there be that they know she’s not there? They haven’t found her right? So , how do they KNOW SHES NOT THERE?

My mind is all over the place tonight!

Well according to the PE tonight - he’s standing guard at a tree where dogs alerted

Tough position to be in for your first post But Thank you for making your post. I would feel the same if it were my community. Not all are sold by any means, please don't think that. It is a discussion group and it's been a particularly strange day ending a very long "much anticipated" search week. I'm not sure that "names" were named when it comes to local officials.

MO a less than top notch police department isn't likely to be successful anyway.
So that has to be taken into account.
if at first you dont succeed, then just dont... a motto for known success ;)

I don't know if this would be helpful for anyone's questions, but my dad was a partner at a Big 4 company in auditing. Just if there were any random questions I could ask that might help us. He has multiple degrees, and would be an expert on potential financial moves that DLR. I can ask if he would want to apply to be verified, as well, just so everyone is comfortable with his input.
That could prove to be very informative. Thank you.

If you read back a bit on the threads about this case, you'll see that many members here are heartsick over what has happened to Suzanne.
I'm sure that no one means any disrespect to the key players who have put time and effort into searching.

There are even members here who have gone to the area to help look for Suzanne ; and donated their own time and effort.

I feel like many here myself included think the husband knows something and has put forth little if any effort to find the woman who should have been the love of his life !
I find the skepticism about him understandable.

And I do not think anyone here means to be 'salacious'.
If someone reads comments here and interprets them as such, that is their own choice.

I myself have wrongly interpreted a post and have re-read it to see it in a different light altogether. :)
Please stick around and do some more reading, and you'll see that we are a compassionate group.
Imo.

One thought on LS being gone. Earlier I thought she was actually with PE. The lines were blurring.

It could be as simple as Fox21 didn’t feel comfortable with the alignment with PE - as a media YouTube competitor.

Or it could be something worse. I don’t know, but I’m leaning towards the simple answer.

JMO

The simple answer has been my thoughts too.

Are those aspen, the 2 deciduous trees behind the pine? So over the weekend PE alluded to the receipt or bill of sale for 3 trees, but why would BM plant them on someone else's lot? I kind of doubt that he would murder her, bury her on his lot or someone else's, then plant something conspicuous over the grave. But maybe like MsBetsy, i think, said, that the bobcat had a contaminated shovel which has left scent all over the place.
