Andy makes the point -- they searched and searched and didn't find her -- what does that mean? Somebody went to great lengths to hide her. Who does that? A rapist? A robber?

Without saying it, he said it.

Agree.

I totally agree. If someone feels that Mike and Chris are more approachable to pass a tip along to than they feel local LE is, then by all means let that information came through Mike and Chris.

One of the unfortunate consequences of hearing so little from LE either directly or though the press about this case after so many months is that a person may feel that they are inaccessible or inattentive or they are done investigating. Under those circumstances, persons who know something, but are not positive it is significant, may just feel like all they are doing is drawing attention to themselves.

If another, less threatening avenue exists to submit a tip, then by all means let it come that way.

One man. No witnesses. At night.

A challenging case, to be sure.

Let the truth be known.

Same here. I don't exactly know what it is about Suzanne, but she got in my heart and this is just so very upsetting. I did let my hopes get the best of me, i guess...:(

You are not alone . . . I let my hopes get the best of me as well . . .

Listening to PE Update 6. I now get why Chris was upset. Briefly it has to do with "chain of custody" once LE said they were taking over they should have stayed. LE claims they did have the property under surveillance but it wasn't known to Andy. Don't know how long that was the case last evening or when Andy was told they were there, he just knew they had left.

As to the communication (or lack there of) I thought Chris made a great point....the reality is LE works for us...make an effort to communicate.

Taking notes but by tomorrow if not sooner there should be a transcript. Andy is on...sad but grateful for the experience and Chris is begging for leads to end this for Gene's sake, his cancer kicked up again today, new tumors.

It was pointed out that Andy is committed and down to earth and many locals who knew Suzanne felt she was the same way. Andy remarked he used sonar, drones, dogs, technology, horses, psychics, he used everything he could.

ETA..not one lost or injured with 700+ searching. Why didn't LE provide a source for approved dogs? Could have saved a lot of stress and heartache. Learning lessons folks. Suzanne's story has made it to Europe today...now the world is looking...

Wonder if the stress on their father, due to SM being missing, AM working so had in the search, contributed to 'resurgence' of his Cancer.

IMO AM looked like he had to fight back the urge to directly call out the guilty party, but who can blame him. What kind of person has no problem letting SMs family and children continue to suffer and worry about her. Never being allowed to have closure is like revictimizing them over and over again

Although I’m sure AM knew intellectually that his chances were slim, I hope he has the support he needs after this weekend. This is such a huge letdown for him and even when you know the odds are slim, I’m sure there was always that flicker of hope for him...
Hopefully they find her. And hopefully justice is served. I wonder what those dogs were hitting on.
It took them three days to investigate the first sight with the concrete. I wonder how they could rule out these three sites so quickly. Anyone knowledgeable about these types of digs that can explain?

that’s what I wonder too! Unless a second dog is able to smell that the first dog alerted to a spot, and doesn’t properly ignore it... what are the chances they would hit on the same spot and nothing is there? from a LE perspective it would be enough to at least have my own dog come in. Is digging down 4 inches and sticking a pole in the ground really all it takes to determine if a body is buried?

I don't know what's so impenetrable about a tip line. It's what LE has used for eons and long before the Interwebs were a thing. It's so simple: know something or see something or hear something, turn in the tip.

People have to realize it's a one-way street, always has been, always will be. If someone turns over a tip to LE, LE is not going to tell the person who called what became of that tip and if it led anywhere or what's happening in the investigation.

It's not personal, it's just how it works. IMO.

Thank you for the summary

Did y’all catch Mike at the end talking about getting help to get out of domestic violence situations?

Big clue, IMO.

There was a photo released by SM's family shortly after her Indiana friends and family chose to start speaking out on SM's behalf. . At the time, we were all debating about no Facebook pictures in two years etc.

Until this week, I had not yet understood why the family chose that photo. It looked like a picture of SM when she was 16-17 yrs old. She might have been battling her first round of cancer. She looked so beautiful and angelic, her eyes were peacefully closed.

I think they were trying to share something.

May this family find justice and take her home to Indiana.
Does anyone else have a link to that photo?

TIA

I think we will find that there were temper issues and when you are mad enough to physically strike the one you love well then - it’s not a leap for me to then figure out methods of insuring that loved one is never found to protect your life as you know it - I’ve been looking at all the located deceased women And there seems to be a pattern - and it’s close to home

That was certainly not lost on me and perhaps an indication of what SM living situation was like. Im sure it only got worse being in a new state, isolated from friends and family. Im hopeful now that things will be going back to normal, the offender may let their guard down and slip valuable information up. Most people have a hard time keeping a secret forever... we may just have to be patient

I thought we were told this was not true?

Andrew Moorman, Morphew’s brother, told FOX31 about the discovery around 12:30 p.m. on Monday.

The discover was made by search dogs in Poncha Springs and is on land owned by Morphew’s husband, Barry. It’s located about 20 minutes from where they lived together with their daughters.
