The DW (also from Alexandria) agrees with this 100 percent. DWOO.
Could it also have to do with being a narcissistic personality, getting people to do your bidding? In my past I had a friend like this for a bit until I realized what was going on. I remember that the person always had so much drama and problems, so maybe these friends are used to this type of interaction with BM and are people that have stepped up for him for years. MOO

I asked the DW what she thought about this.... and she thinks this is part of it - BM certainly has some narcissistic traits, but the DW thinks that the far larger driver of the behavior is what @NatureLover posted. MOO.

I also remember this being discussed on a very early thread (the first one?)

This is what I remember:

1. Suzanne picked up a takeout meal
2. Dinner not lunch
3. On the Friday evening but an exact time not given
4. From a cafe in Salida
5. Located near a bike shop
6. A poster at the time provided a google map with a pin
7. The pin was ambiguously placed and the cafe was hard to identify
8. Another poster at the time asked lots of questions trying to ascertain the exact location

This is just my recollection and I could not find the original posts when I searched
moo

I did post this very early on. I'll see if I can find it. Stand by.

First MSM confirmation.
A camp, not camping.
Not the kind of trip to take a cooler on.

Traveling a great distance during a Covid lockdown of restaurants could mean coolers would have been a reasonable alternative for food.

Was it in thread 13 /14? La Beca Cafe, became Little Cambodia at 300 W Sackett Ave. Next to a bike shop.

He may have a long time to write those flowery statements.

Unless LE declares her dead, I believe in Colorado a person has to be missing five years before they can be declared deceased.
IIRC, permanent guardianship of SM was approved Sept. 1 in Indiana, because the property BM wanted to sell was in Indiana. Since the guardianship will transfer to Colorado (states accept other states' guardianship declarations), now BM can sell, buy, etc., as if she didn't exist. Not all states are like that -- here in VA, being a missing person is NOT considered incapacitated -- and in those states, she'd have to be declared dead after 5 or 7 years. MOO.

There were a couple of points that AM clarified on Dr. Phil that have been the subject of some considerable speculation:

He stated the daughters were on a church camping trip. That would seem to indicate that it wasn't something that was planned by BM, but just happened to fall on that weekend. I don't think that rules out premeditation, but does at least answer that question, IMO.

He also stated that the neighbor came over and went into the garage and looked for the cars, which were there (almost sounded like the neighbor either had a key or was given the key code to get into the garage?) It was BM that asked about the bike, and she went back over to check on that.

AM also talked about how BM was committed to the mountain lion story - didn't want to hear that AM wasn't buying it. This, IMO, also seems to indicate that the mountain lion story was the original narrative being pushed by BM. I believe once that wasn't received by anyone, he threw out the abduction theory. I still believe it's possible that the additional article (likely the helmet) that was recovered near the road was placed there by BM or an accomplice after the mountain lion narrative died on the vine (to help "sell" the abduction theory, possibly?) While risky, if they threw it out a car window on Monday evening, I think it fits the timeline - and depending on when it was recovered - might have been possible. It just doesn't make sense as part of a mountain lion narrative - though BM should have realized that was weak to begin with.

MOO, JMO.
AM said the neighbor saw the cars in the garage? When the PE guys were just starting didn’t they post a picture of two Range Rovers on the driveway? Was that from the same day?

Possibly.

I

So why did he pull 5 AM out of thin air? There has to be a connection.

Maybe he'd never adjusted the clock in his truck to daylight savings time. In the winter 5 am would have been 4 am.

I’d like to see BM agree to an interview with Dr. Phil (doubt that will ever happen), but what the “devil” in me would LOVE to see is Nancy G. get her hands on him :p! I know, I know, her voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard, but wouldn’t that be seriously epic!?! :D

Was it ever decided what BM might have meant with “It was only because I didn’t know the time that I did something, a mechanical thing, to my bobcat”?

Yes, it was back that far and that was the information. From what I remember the cafe has since closed and wasn't particularly easy to find.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around BM asking people to spy on the search. Such a overtly obvious move. If discovered to be true by LE, what would his excuse be? Just makes him look so darn guilty, you'd think he would have more common sense than that.
Maybe he put it to them like, “Hey, I just can’t help in the search. It’s too much for me. Could you guys go and help on my behalf?” At the end of each day he could quiz them as to whether anything was found. “Did anyone find anything that will help me get back the love of my life?” (Or put me in jail for the rest of my life?)
Either that or he just has them hoodwinked and he has them believing that he is being framed.
MOO

Speculation.
Could Suzanne have bought a sandwich at Poncha Market and Deli, on Saturday afternoon.

After hearing about the idea that she was killed earlier, could he have felt it would help him, if he could find the receipt for her meal?
It was Tuesday, iirc, that he was seen digging in the trash after the store closed. That is such an odd thing to do, considering all that was going on at the time.

Did BM feed this info to another person for his own adgenda knowing the video was no longer in existence for proof? Just thinking. Also if SM was alive on Saturday afternoon then why did BM appear that he had the worst day of his life on Saturday morning according to MG? Something smells fishy here.

What Did BM Ask SM's Father to Sign? Gdn'ship Dox or ??? Part II
LE has really only confirmed a few things in this case. I do however think some folks with bits and pieces of maybe factual info talked to AM, because he's SM's brother. I'm sure he got alot closer to the case during his recent time in CO. I think all of this info has been known to LE for months and probably documented in what I'm assuming is a LARGE running case file on SM. IMO
I do have a question for the legal people, what guardianship would need GMs approval?
Soooo, this would be Moorman family trusts, inheritances, family land or property?
Otherwise there isn’t anything to involve GM in re to needing his signature. IMO
@Feistyomi That was one of my questions, now rewording a bit:
Was there a legal requirement in IN gdnship procedure for BM to serve the petition on GM?
Imo per IN law (w statute quoted in my earlier post #329): No, no requirement GM would have to be served/given legal notice, so why would BM ask GM to sign dox for that?

So if BM did ask GM to "sign papers" what did they relate to?
And that's why I speculated,
--- maybe dox relating to a Moorman fam trust estab'ed by GM and maybe his now deceased wife?
--- maybe another asset or acct like bank or brokerage a/c, held jointly by GM and SM?
--- or???

And yes I agree w you, if not something like above, nothing for GM to sign.

ETA: Maybe BM asked GM as trustee for fam trust, for an advance payment of principal or earnings from trust? Or a total distribution of SM's share of the trust? Hypo only, afaik, existence of such a trust has not been established.

Yep I think he's successfully manipulated his 'flying monkeys' into believing that he's being framed. Poor Barry! MOO

So from a financial perspective for BM, SM’s as good as dead already?

Saturday MG worked with BM at the beach site and he was out of sorts and cut the work day short ostensibly because he had to go spend time hiking or biking with his wife.

Sunday was the day that BM sounded to MG as if he had just had the worst night of his life.
