I remember something about her picking up lunch from an Asian restaurant that I think now has gone out of business.
Was it Seasons?

Take out only, no dine in on Mother’s Day per State Safer at Home restrictions.

This coffee shop went rogue and lost their license.

A Colorado Restaurant Hosted A Crowd On Mother's Day. It's Now Been Closed Down

Castle Rock, a small city about 30 miles south of Denver, is the county seat of Douglas County. It's in the jurisdiction of the Tri-County Health Department – which issued a reminder Saturday, urging people not to form groups of more than 10 on Mother's Day and to keep everyone at least 6 feet apart.

All Colorado restaurants have been under tight restrictions since March 17, when the state health department's order closing bars, restaurants, gyms, theaters and casinos took effect.
Arellano's decision to reopen her restaurant at full capacity came days after the governor extended the state's disaster emergency declaration through June 6. As Polis issued that order last week, he cited the threat of a disaster that could bring "widespread or severe damage, injury or loss of life."

On Friday, Polis said restaurants may be able to reopen by the time Memorial Day weekend arrives at the end of May, depending on the latest data about the coronavirus outbreak.

In a news conference Monday afternoon, Polis said a decision on opening restaurants will be made on May 25.
I saw that about the Castle Rock restaurant. Shame on them. It was curbside here, too, but now it's 50% capacity. They're very lax in SC.

Did BM have usually another crew out of his own official employees and JP/MG were his extraordinary, inofficial crew for certain work? Does someone know, if that is possible?
I'm not sure. I do recall that MG told Lauren Scharf, the Fox News 21 Reporter, that she and Barry were previously scheduled to do the Broomfield job together in April. Just the two of them. But that got canceled. Then it was rescheduled for early May. Once more, canceled.

Then, it was last minute, when a frantic Barry called her on Mother's Day to get a crew together to head to Broomfield. MG stated that when she hung up with Barry she thought he sounded as if he had the worst night of his life. Very telling.

No other hotel guest did complain about noise or forever running water, I wonder (IF BM showered his tools)?
That's exactly what I believe Barry did in that hotel room. First, though, he showered them using bleach. MOO

I'm almost to the point of ruling this out as any kind of reasonable possibility even (and, at best, it's highly improbable, IMO). At this point, to believe BM to be innocent, I think you'd have to believe he's both the luckiest and unluckiest man alive.

So incredibly lucky to have the CCSO involve the CBI and FBI almost immediately on this case - wow, so many professional resources to help solve the case! But, unlucky for BM, he happens to get the "bumbling idiot" division of these three agencies who are only effective at messing up crime scenes, lying to people, and framing innocent husbands to cover up their ineptitude.

So unlucky that he happened to be out of town at the time SM was abducted on her "bike ride". But so lucky that he happened to have an urgent job come up on a holiday weekend three hours away, so at least he had a great alibi that could allow LE to rule him out immediately and focus their efforts on finding that @#$% mountain lion.

So lucky that BM had witnesses who could help account for his whereabouts on Sat and Sun. So unlucky that they happened to be meth heads who can't be trusted.

So lucky that SM was active on FB late on Saturday evening, proving she was alive at that time. So unlucky that whatever "SM" was doing on FB that evening was highly unusual for her and suspicious to all of her friends.

So lucky that he has such a potential ally in AM, a loving brother who desperately wants to find his sister. So unlucky that AM is more concerned with "publicity" and "blaming the husband" than looking for the mountain lion.

You get the idea. One or two of these things you might chalk up to luck...... but the list is waaaay too long to ignore (and I think LEs list is much longer than ours). MOO, JMO.
^^^THIS^^^ is SO GOOD!! I’d “like” it 100 times if I could!!

Yes, I keep forgetting the dates.

May 10th, in my town of 500 people, had -0- open for fast food, coffee shops, etc... I have a hard time believing a sandwich shop was open....

I believe at that point, no Colorado eateries could serve guests indoors, but could provide curb service (take out) or patio service with a social distancing plan approved by the local health authority. IMO

I too live in a town of about 500 and I don't believe our two restaurants EVER closed to indoor dining. (in defiance of state orders). So while we can look up what the laws were at the time, it's hard to know whether or not they were being enforced, unless a Salidian WSer can tell us from personal experience.

IMO

I’m having problems buying into any sighting of SM on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. Wouldn’t LE have her cell location data showing that she was there IF she was actually there? I could be mistaken about this because I’m a tech idiot so forgive me if that’s incorrect. Just don’t eat me alive :). Chances of her shutting off her phone when her girls are off on a camping trip out of state is highly unlikely.

Additionally, MG stated that Barry was acting really weird at the Salida job site in the morning, stated that BM said he needed to go home and go biking or hiking to make the wife happy (a dead wife?) and then says he was spotted in town all afternoon by himself.

Colour me confused  But I bet LE is NOT confused. They are just missing a few pieces of the puzzle they need to find before they put the hammer down!! MOO.

What if -- Saturday morning, BM somehow manipulates it so that SM doesn't have her phone. Maybe an argument where he breaks it, or maybe just persuades her to set it aside while they go for a ride/talk out some issue etc.

Then they go out together, without her phone, end up at sandwich shop where they are seen. She is either going along willingly or under pressure from him, but doesn't want to make a public scene.

Then sometime later that day, whether back at home or still out, some violence happens.

MOO speculation only

He threw BOTH theories out there and very cavalierly I might add. Tossing around the notion that cats drag their "prey" uphill... aka: the love of his life, his beloved, mother of his children, his wife. He spoke those words with as much emotion as I do when ordering a pastrami on rye... easy on the mustard.
Also when he called MG on Monday to tell her SM was missing he said ‘she may have been taken by a mountain lion’.

It’s the 3rd quarter of a football game. LE vs BM.

What’s the score?

It would be great to know if the church camp too got rescheduled 2x because of Covid the same period the wall repair did. I know I may keep on dreaming...

MG was interviewed five times by LE. She ‘mostly cooperated’, she had very close contact with BM around the time SM went missing. She raked out the beach. She she was asked not to hand over her phone to LE, and they made the comment that if they gave her her paycheck it would look like‘hush money’... maybe it was an enhanced paycheck? I am sure that she knows information that LE would like together it’s hands on. Then she moved out of state!

5 - 0

If there were awards given on Websleuths for a great, insightful and funny post, you would win one. :D:)

Wow! That would be interesting to know. Hopefully, LE has investigated the possibility.

I decided to call the HIE in Broomfield and ask about early check in. The girl was very nice and told me that check in is at 3 but their policy is if you want a room earlier and they have one they can expedite housekeeping and get you in when you want. For what it’s worth...

BM has been way behind in this game right from the start. He’s not going to catch up either! Actually, he was more like a no-show! JMO :)

That very well could be, but why was BM acting strange to MG on Saturday morning at the beach site? Banging my head against the wall trying to figure the timeline out.

rbbm - maybe Barry was paranoid that Suzanne had found something out that she wasn't supposed to know - may have made him twitchy/agitated?

RSBM BBM
There is nothing in MSM to validate this "supposed conversation" by Barry. I have seen it repeated over and over, never once sourced.
I believe this is in a fox interview, I am researching, hope to find soon, fox would be msm...I remember Andy discussing this, first time I realized how quickly he had gotten to CO. If you remember, we all wondered why neither family seemed to be doing anything. This is why it stuck in my mind, because Andy corrected our assumptions, he was there and he AND BM were cooperating with each other, per this interview.
