Barry Morphew Sits Downs With CBS4 Nearly 6 Months Since His Wife's Disappearance

SABBM:

He shared a letter Suzanne wrote to him in February for Valentines Day. It’s the last note he has from her.

“I remember the first kiss you gave me at my front door. I remember our long talks in the dark on the golf course between the 3rd tee and the green. I remember the day you asked me to marry you, you gave me flowers in Castletin. I remember the day you held me when I just found out I had cancer… I remember our wedding day and the way you made me feel so beautiful. I remember the days our girls were born and you were right there to hold my hand and rub my back and encourage me through the pain. I remember the February nights, you held me in 2013 when I was so sick and couldn’t sleep. I remember all the beautiful and difficult we had- so many, Through each one I know our love has grown stronger. You are my love 4ever.”

Looks like BM's borrowing another page out of RT's playbook.

RT pulled out a bunch of notes that Barbara had written him to show the reporters, too…laid 'em all out on the coffee table, as I recall.

It's a way to deflect attention away from the subject of the interview, which is the disappearance of a missing wife.

Maybe if SM had gone missing on Valentine's Day this note would have relevance.
But she didn't go missing on V-Day.
It's completely irrelevant.

Distraction. Diversion.

Nice try, BM, but let's stay on topic, shall we?

"WHERE IS YOUR WIFE?"

JMO.
Unfluking believable ...

So was this interview before or after he put the house on the market? PR spin much Barry?

He's now rolling the bus over Andy and also Lauren Sharf. Andy's birthday video to Suzanne was lovely and I do believe he told her how much he loved her.
Meeting the news4 reporter and allowing her in his home, sharing the sweet love notes from Suzanne, saying he was illegally recorded. All a great big fluke you to Lauren.

Narcissism at it's finest ... he just can't see we're not dumb enough to buy the act.

Gosh I am so sorry for Suzanne's girls, they are in a living h$!! right now.

Sometimes siblings live far apart. Their lives go in different directions. The love is still there though and my guess is that Suzanne knew they loved her and they knew she loved them. Andy came through when it was important. What has Barry done but hide?
ITA. They lived very far apart, and from what we heard, it was hard to contact SM due to WiFi issues.

I’m sure SM cried on his shoulder. She was lonely and missed friends and family. I feel so sad for SM.

The Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office has released an update on the Suzanne Morphew missing persons investigation........

Also this week, members of the law enforcement task force responded to the report of human remains trained dogs “alerting” on three separate properties in Chaffee County. To clarify, none of these properties are owned by members of the Morphew family.

The living room area reminds me of a hotel lobby, and in some ways, the whole house (based on the pictures) has that feel. MOO.
I had a similar thought of an airbnb. Comfortable yet not “lived in” as much as I hate that thought. Because it was lived in by a family and most members loved each other. IMO

Selling his place and moving on!

Well, what about his 26 second plea??

If he feels (cough cough) someone has her, why not stay there? I mean that is where she would head to if she got away from kidnappers.....just saying.

Even Stan and Julie Patz "never changed their phone number or moved, in the hopes that their son Etan, would reach out or return home. They stayed there for 40 years...

BBM
HA!! I thought the very same thing when I first read he was selling the home.

IMO...
As far as the Valentines Card / Note.
Who says it is from this year?
Oh that’s right, Barry says so.
As far as the “ no camera” interview...
He knows his body language will tell the truth more than his words ever will.
All just my opinion.
And furthermore... WHERE IS THE CARD HE GAVE SUSANNE?

I would really like to know the date of that love letter...if it’s from this past VD then that might change my thinking that Suzanne had asked him for a divorce or was planning to leave. Of course a lot could have changed in three months especially if she found out something really bad such as BM was having an affair, committing financial infidelity or doing something illegal...but that love letter just shocked me! It might be a trick and it’s several years old or even forged. I wonder if AM can recognize Suzanne’s writing? She has beautiful penmanship. The daughters might know if the letter is from years ago and they would also know if Suzanne felt like her siblings didn’t care about her. If they see this interview and their Dad is being deceitful they will surely be even more sad and disgusted than they already are. Unless he has them totally brainwashed and they believe all his lies. I love how he puts selling the house on the daughters being afraid and not ever wanting go back to that house. But what about living with the person that caused what happened in that house? Unfortunately they can’t move away from that fear as easily right now.

"We asked Barry why he didn’t join the search. He said it was because he had already spent months doing the same with close friends. He no longer believes she’s in the area. He also added Moorman never reached out to him directly about the search despite repeated attempts to contact him personally."

Really BM? You were asked publicly multiple times, AM showed up at your house with dogs, he was talking with media every single day trying to keep SM's name alive, you expect us to believe AM wasnt returning your phone calls? Or that you didnt hear about the search? Because you sure knew what day to be walking around the woods hanging camera?....

Lots of things can happen, change and be found in 3 months.
Totally agree. Also, factor in the lockdown and pandemic. A whole lot of togetherness.

I’m not convinced that letter was from this VDay, but if it was, it’s almost like she was begging him to remember the good times. That letter really makes me so sad for SM. I bet she was such a good person.

Maybe he's selling the Puma Path house "as is" because just wants it gone, and can't be arsed to make any effort. He's done with that house, so just get rid of it. Maybe it's just as simple as that.

This is exactly what I think as well...he wants to wash his hands of this home and get the hell out of dodge! He cannot be bothered with the back and forth negotiation of the home's issues.

Remembering AM saying he would call BM to see how they were doing, bet a brand new Bob Cat he never told SM her brother had called.

This was just released. Court TV w/ Ashley Banfield

10/6/20 Missing Colorado Mother: Morphew Family Home for Sale - Court TV

When asked for comment, BM said "no comment."

Andy interviewed. Thinks the dogs hit on scents that were probably on BM's bobcat.

Banfield compares BM to Josh Powell, Chris Watts, and Scott Peterson.

"It's always suspicious when you try to get rid of a family home during a missing persons investigation."

"You should not only be searching, but you should be begging for the media attention, not eschewing it."

Friend of the Morphew's interviewed. "Barry is very driven. People can read into things, and he's just intense (paraphrased). BM's just in a terrible position."
