Question for WSers:

What night do you guys believe the noise at the riverfront property occurred?

I remember that the elderly neighbor who heard the noise around 11:30 PM could not recall if it occurred on Friday night or Saturday night. I know that the timeline pulled together here by OldCop with inputs from many folks here, has it listed on Saturday night. However, I don’t remember if this timeline was put together before or after MG’s interview with LS.

If MG is to be believed, BM was working at that site on Friday night, and hence the noise would have been on Friday night (MOO).

If one believes that the noise occurred on Saturday night, it seems to me that MG’s “testimony” is being discounted/not believed (MOO).

The elderly neighbor did not say that the noise occurred on two nights. It is an either/or proposition in my opinion. The noise occurred on Friday or Saturday, but not both nights.

Of course, if you are questioning information provided by MG, this opens up many possibilities. Are some of you thinking there might be deliberate misdirection being put forth?

Or, are we now thinking the noise occurred on Friday night?

Would love to get your thoughts on this. Everything is as clear as mud on this case...

I, for one, think it’s very possible the noise was heard on Friday night. It certainly fits most of the facts we have so far except, if she was really seen in Salida on Saturday afternoon at 4:00 pm. So, either that was incorrect and she was killed on Friday or BM is guilty of premeditated murder and was prepping a site to dispose of her or incriminating evidence the following evening.
MG did say he worked at the site Friday night, but she never said what time. I thought she meant earlier Friday evening because I felt she would have mentioned if it was close to midnight. She said her job on Saturday was to rake out the beach area where he had worked the night before.

Lol !
Loving it.
Probably not at all the way a possible interview will be held ;); but let's just say I do not envy LE in this case -- and having to deal with BM's ludicrous and cockamamie fabrications -- in the slightest !
MOO
RSBM, One slight moderation to your fabulous post.

LE : So why don't YOU tell us what happened ?

BM: Listen She was kidnapped by a mountain lion on a bike ride .

LE Say what ? The mountain lion was riding a bike ? No ?
Because that's what it sounds like you're saying, Barry.

BM: Listen No ! Let me tell you what happened. A mountain lion attacked and killed her right there while she was by that river riding her bike.

LE: We found no evidence of a big cat attack.

BM: Listen A random stranger, that was it.

LE: A random abductor took her off her bike by the river ?

BM: Listen No, he grabbed her from our house after I left her sleeping at 5am.

LE: But there's no evidence of a kidnapper. And you were on the road in your truck texting your employee at 4am.
Not to mention all of the other digital evidence we have, that makes none of your stories the least bit accurate, Barry.

BM: Listen I want my lawyer because you're confusing me. And you left out the part where I said she went off the road on her bike and somehow got herself into the river.
And my employees and all of the rest of you are meth heads.

I've essentially thrown out the entire timeline since it just seems to shift around again with each new nugget of info that comes out. You'll get no flying tomatoes from me, since I'm in the same boat with you about the neighbor lady at the river site. For that matter, we don't even know if it was BM at the jobsite. It could have been anyone working the site. It could have been completely unrelated as well.

jmo
You’re right, @Ontario Mom, we don’t know if it was him. All we do know is that the neighbor heard loud machinery running close to midnight Friday or Saturday night, that BM was hired to do prep work prior to the concrete pour there, that the FBI dug up part of the property as the result of a search warrant, and that BM lied about when he did a “mechanical thing” to his Bobcat.
We all keep playing with our puzzle pieces, twisting and turning them, trying to get them to fit into place.

Hey Barry, if you are reading here, you might want to put some $$$ away for commissary items because I'm thinking (and hoping lol) that it won't be long and you are going to need it!JMO

With all these timeline changes, I am starting to doubt all of it.

BM seems to have a deep hatred of Andy and the Moorman family. If I were BM, I would have put SM’s body close to the Moorman’s. Maybe even on one of their farms because that would be the last place they would look for her.

IMO, the last confirmed SM sighting is the bike shop. Could BM have traveled to IN to dispose of SM? Is this doable without being seen by CCTV or going through tolls?

You've been on a roll lately, I've never seen so much humor in your posts? Those zingers are on par and a welcome respite :D

We need some new material to dissect, anyone know where Barry's hanging out lately?

Here is my neighborhood lion... Not seen much, but around intermittently based on elk/deer carcasses. Never acted aggressive/attacked a human yet... (knock on wood)....

He is very beautiful, but you may keep him!

Yes, I've read that as well.

Certainly they'd have a fully working security system , and would never think of disabling it, or allowing it to be temporarily not working (non-functioning ?) !
Imo

I hadn't heard about their security system. Do you have a link for that handy? tysm

EBM-
It was in the 2018 sale listing, although I think Barry left that description out of the newest listing. Don't quote me on that, need to verify.

Lauren Sharf mentioned seeing security cameras at the home. I'll see if I can pull up the transcript, standby. Start at 21:50-

LS said she saw one camera, in the area of the front door, when she left one of her notes for BM. The security system seems to come and go, which I suppose could be the sign of a really good system. Maybe LE missed the security system in the first search, which certainly could explain the reason for the second search, I suppose. JMO

I think that was a another word for the trash can.
As in, not the landfill.

We don't know that the landfill hasn't been searched ; possibly it has ?
It's possible that LE may also have checked for discarded coolers.
That still bugs me that there weren't any found in that house.
There's at least one photo of a smaller size cooler and they must have had larger ones to transport game.

My .02 is that there's a ton of searches and evidence LE aren't revealing and that's a good thing as they're building a damning case against someone.
The cooler thing is not a big issue IMO The Daughters were on a camping trip = coolers needed. We do not know upon their return if that had taken coolers and if those coolers were returned at some point , assuming they were not returned to Puma Path since it was under a week+ search warrant. Respectfully I can see your point of view.

Thanks Knox! That's actually my normal personality in my everyday life. Humor is a fine art, and helps get us through challenging times, and can be especially useful even amidst darkness, like in true crime cases. IMO.

I mean, he’s trying to sell the house. I doubt he’s worried about a room looking renovated. The only reason you don’t show a pic and list a house As Is is if the room isnt presentable in current form.

I think under normal circumstances, that is the norm. But in this case I believe the seller is aware that interior shots will be downloaded, saved and reviewed by hundreds of online sleuths!

Not taking away from how much I enjoyed this post :D
But adding on in a serious note.....

If he has no idea what happened to her, he just left..... and she was sleeping. Just a normal day at the life of King Barry.

Why hasn't he included she might have left him?

Isn't this realistically the most likely actual outcome in this situation?
(we know it's not in this case...just the law of averages of the general population)

Which is why I am set hard on that's exactly what was transpiring. ....And he was having none of it.
