Thanks, Nurse.

I'm still wondering why so much of this story is told by text messages. I wonder if that won't play a part later on in the game. I made the time line so I could see clearly what was happening without the extra commentary about texts and hindsight. It would have been nice if Morgan kept a diary, get her view point on all this, too.

bbm: if they are saved (which I am sure they are) they are Morgan's own words.:twocents:

Nursie, thanks SOOOO much for being such a huge help. Giving us some rules to play by, and creating the media thread, and moving everything over there...

Thanks. You rock.

TripleM, and Rolling, thanks so much for the work on the timeline. I was going to tackle it tonight, but I don't have to now. I can focus on getting some tax information to the accountant instead. LOL...

Hey, guests? Sign up. We don't bite, and we'd love your opinion!

I've had the same BB phone for 3 years until my company changed to iPhones a month ago. I never had texts more than 45 days back in my feed, even if I ddin't delete them.

So, I'm assuming she got these from the phone co.

(Respectfully snipped.)

It did remind me of a story I was told once by a landlord. Apparently in her younger adult years she had bought a house with her husband and kids. They lived in the house a couple of years, noticing the occasional moved object, but thought nothing of it. One day she came home sick from work and found a man in her shower. After the initial screams and freaking out, it turns out that man had been living in the walls for years ....

WHAT?!? :-0

They ended up inviting him to live in a spare room, rather than the walls.

WHAT?!?!?!?!? 8-0

(I am freaking out!)

Depends...hunting can be confusing.

Here's the list, but it for the upcoming year. The dates can/do change every year sometimes

http://wildlife.state.co.us/SiteCollectionDocuments/DOW/Hunting/HunterEd/HuntPlanner.pdf

I found one from 2011...

http://www.thefencepost.com/article/20110913/news/110919944

From the link:
"ARCHERY:
• Pronghorn- Bucks Only: Aug. 15-31
Deer/Elk: West of I-25 (and unit 140): Aug. 27-Sept. 25"

I don't know what units means in this context, and I don't know much about hunting at all. But I did see on Ks myspace some photos of him with a deer he'd hunted, by a bow.

So I'm wondering how those dates correlate with the timelines...

And I'm wondering how one gets a license, and if records are kept of that...and if so, are they public, and can we see them?

Lol not too hard to believe.I was homeless for a wee bit but had met a couple of the locals(19+21yr old brothers)who lived with their parents, over the next couple of days when the parents left to go to work id go to the house and the sons would let me in for a shower and some food, anyway long story short,Dad comes home and catches me leaving the house and i ended up staying with them for 9mths..

Herding...I don't know much about hunting either except it makes boys act nuts. Lol

My hubby takes his vacation during "gun" week. He gets up before daylight. He plans his whole day out beforehand. Yeah, he acts nutty about hunting. He even has a special shampoo he uses during this time that helps hide his scent.

Money...oh we wont even speak about the money he spends on this hobby of his.

One thing I know....a lot of his friends take time off of work during these hunting days, depending on what type of weapon they use to hunt with.

ETA. You can get a license pretty much anywhere. Even walmart. Just need an I'd or license.

From 08/11 to 08/22 there was no activity. Hunting started 08/15. Could have been a hunting/camping trip. Could also have been jail time, visiting family, or family visiting the perp. Any number of reasons why there are these gaps. The thing would be to compare those large gaps with suspects' own times lines thru FB pages perhaps, or second-hand accounts. I wonder if someone is willing to friend K on FB, someone who would seem to be a peer, someone with similar interests, and go back thru his timeline and see if he was gone during those dates.

One more thing: The guy climbing the tree seemed really loud to me. Maybe because I was wearing headphones. It did remind me of a story I was told once by a landlord. Apparently in her younger adult years she had bought a house with her husband and kids. They lived in the house a couple of years, noticing the occasional moved object, but thought nothing of it. One day she came home sick from work and found a man in her shower. After the initial screams and freaking out, it turns out that man had been living in the walls for years, long before they had bought the house. Every day he'd wait for the family to leave, shower and shave, eat some food, then go about his business. Apparently he had some access to the house from outside, but actually lived in the walls. They ended up inviting him to live in a spare room, rather than the walls. He wasn't a stalker, just a really strange tenant that came with the house. Obviously the previous owners had no clue they had a roommate!

:what: OMG!
I've had 2 peeping toms and the last one made me paranoid. We had motion detectors going off all night. At one point my 2 sons and I all slept in the same room cause we were scared. I even called LE to come while we walked to our car to leave. This creep spoke to me from outside my window. He said the filthiest things. My youngest son was in his bedroom with our cat when the cat started staring at the window and growled. The peeping tom starting saying "Here kitty kitty."
I know this family sounds vigilant and lax at the same time on different points but I think back to my experience with this and feel I was the same way. Sometimes I also would open a window next to me because I felt like I wasn't going to let this creep ruin my life. Looking back it was denial. Never would I do that again.

Did the peeping tom eventually leave you alone or was he caught?.

Once he was almost caught when he climbed up the balcony of the lady next to us and tried to break in. He jumped a fence and got away. The cop was too fat to get over the fence. Le also almost got him once when he was at my window. They were on his trail but lost him. Too bad they didn't have a dog with them.
The guy renting next door was arrested for a rash of burglaries in which he would climb up the access to the attic in an apartment and get into other apartments. He was a habitual offender and got 15 yrs. When he left, the peeping tom never returned. So I figure it was him. I had suspected him for some time.

The "here kitty kitty" would have freaked me the frick out. I've been trained in Israeli combat shooting, and part of that is shooting under stress. If I had heard that, there'd be several holes in my walls and windows, a body outside, and the sincere hope that none of my friends was stupid enough to do something like that as a joke. That's just too creepy for words.

Which is why this family leaving their windows open, even after expressing such concern for their daughter, bothers me. In very short order it would have me outside with night vision goggles and my 20-gauge, watching and waiting.

Well you have the fight or flight response. Several years ago my husband worked 2nd shift and it was time for him to be home. I went over to the bedroom window and pulled the curtain back to watch for him and a guy was standing there staring at me. I screamed and reacted. I ran out the door and started chasing him and ran for 2 blocks before I lost him. Then it hit me what would I have done if I had caught him? I walked back home and when hubby got home he ripped me from one end to the other telling me how stupid that was and I could have gotten myself killed. I agree it was a stupid thing to do. I guess I just wanted to know who the peep was that was invading my privacy. (Followed too may cases. Im not that brave anymore.)
