Isn't it weird too that the child apparently can't tell LE anything about herself?

I thought at first that the Irwin connection was completely off the wall, but damn those photos are close.

Of course we've had many dead ringer matches in the past that didn't pan out, so I don't want to put too much credence in it, either...

I think she looks older than 2, but LE is sayin she is between 2-3...But what if her mental age is lower than her physical age? Maybe they are asking her questions, and she isn't replying, or how she is replying, and they are assuming she is younger than she is? Or when children are neglected, they tend to age slower, right? I can sort of see her between 4-5....

Denver Police Department ALERT: We are happy to report that this little girl's mother has been located out of state. It was learned that she was left in the care of her grandmother. It remains under investigation why the child was not reported missing. She will remain in the care of Denver Human Services. Thank you all for your help in this matter!

I wonder if she has some sort of disability that she can't tell them. She should at least be able to tell them her name at the age (2-3) they think she is. I definately do not think she's 2.

Edit- I just saw she was identified awesome news!

I see so many comments saying grandma had a stroke or dementia. Yes, that is possible, but why are people assuming that the grandmother of a preschooler is in her 70's or older?

Hmmm wonder if we will hear more about this. Very odd.

I'm the grandmother of an 8 yo and I just turned 49. I had her mom at 20 and she had her at 20. I adopted her so people just think I'm her mom. I guess that is why because they assume grandmas are old and senile

I have never thought that Lisa was still alive. I can only hope I'm wrong.

I agree, but there's always room for hope.
