Given that Cobra flip-flops his views and has been caught in contradiction after contradiction: his word is very hard to trust... and everything has to always come back to being about him and who is to blame for him getting arrested.
I don't doubt for one minute that Snodgrass could have harmed Haleigh... his charges are sickening and I find it repulsive that he was allowed out on bond. I, too, hope LE did do a thorough investigation... but I can't trust Cobra's claim that LE didn't. Sadly, though, there are a lot of people putting Cobra back on a pedestal because he released the tape, and are now pretty much engaging in an online lynching of LE. I say lets get the info from LE... not someone out with an agenda. (Like it or not, Cobra does have an agenda... that trial is coming up, and he has a show with Discovery, now.)
BBM. My problem with the bolded is - we have no proof that LE
did do a thorough investigation. The more I learn about this case, the more convinced I become that something really is wrong in Putnam County.
After 9 months, there is no body, nor any clues to an alive little girl.
There are no suspects.
There are no POIs
There is NOTHING and LE is keeping it that way - for whatever reason.
What we do have is a jail with a revolving door - there must be good money in the bail bond business.
We have a LOT of sex offenders, registered and otherwise.
We have a lot of drugs and plenty of people who use them.
We have a cast of characters running around with guns, stealing, assaulting each other, stretching the truth twelve ways to Sunday, seeming to live well enough and, as far as I know, none of them works.
I don't trust ANYONE down there and, sorry to say, I believe this case has been cold since the first week and that's just the way it's going to stay.
My opinion only
