IMHO.. They are all untruths..With a couple of RED HERRINGS thrown into the mix.....
IMHO.. No one is capable of grieving the loss of a loved one when their main objective is to deflect from the truth and their ONLY concern is to CTOA..JMO
Good Morning Em. Of course you're correct, that's the point of my posts. As to RED HERRINGS, let me tell you about something very telling that I did yesterday as a result of too much time on my hands.
I had listened to these tapes a few times, but had never read a transcript before this thread. After reading through the transcripts I couldn't help but notice just how big the RED HERRING seemed to be. Yesterday I decided to find out how much it weighed, LOL.
First, I copy/pasted all of these transcripts and put them continuously into a Word file. Unchanged and unedited they occupied 11.5 pages.
Next, I colored all parts of the various conversations about "Joe done it" red.
Then, I deleted every single line and word spoken by Cobra. I've never placed any value on anything he says anyway, LOL. I had 7 pages left at this point.
Finally, I deleted all of the remaining red lines and words about "Joe done it". I was left with 2 pages of misc. words and ramblings from Ronald Cummings largely occupied with the "Crystal done it" red herring.
What did all of this tell me (other than I shouldn't have left my kids in the mountains as early as I did)? I assigned a "page weight" of 1 lb per page to these transcripts.
-Cobra's junk weighed 4 and 1/2 lbs
-The misc. "Crystal done it" red herring weighed less than 2 lbs
-The "Joe done it" red herring weighed 5 lbs.
In this case, a RED HERRING is an easily identifiable specie. They swim in free waters. It's the fishermen that are in the tank.
