CocoaMom's Church Theory

Actually, I was trying to stop the "snarkiness" (to BlueEyes) and have been the one person who has not engaged in petty, mean-spirited backbiting (not to mention mad rushing to judgment) on every one of these threads... I've supported your theory and just reached my limit w the overdemonizing--and like you think the "excuse me..." was unnecessary. ETA: Actually I was just making an important point, and thought I used restraint in making it... no really lol. JMO
:blowkiss:

:blowkiss: I believe you! I have never seen you being anything but nice to anyone!

Bumping this thread back up. My home office has been turned into a literal strategy room complete with wall calendars, laminated arial maps of SE Orlando for writing on, etc., and I'm following this and other theories and keeping track in my strategy room, so want to keep this theory visible and on the forefront (some really informative info on this thread btw, great sleuthing guys !! )

That is NOT TRUE about LP not being allowed in BP...........

He said at 8:00 this morning they would NOT be searching there over the weekend because there were too many people there.

I told you this on another thread, why are you putting it here?

I was so offended when MW announced on NG that statement..... and wonder why there is so much discord surrounding this case!!!!!!!

It is common knowledge among us who follow this case NO DIVER's over the weekend and would/hope to resume during the week. So many mis-truths that feed the anger..............

Maybe she's as cold as the cement cell and slabs that are her environment. Do you think she can last without breaking before the trial?

Yes, I do. There are parts of her brain missing or that are damaged. jmo

This theory would explain why KC's not worried about them finding Caylee. There's nothing left to find. I've also never thought the gas cans were for a car. I personally cannot imagine something so heinous but if she had convinced herself that she was just burning "a bag," she might have been able to pull it off.

So my question then becomes - is there evidence on some property where a fire occurred? On the church property or in JBP? Are you allowed to build a campfire in the park?

I noticed last night when I was looking at the map on MS Live.com at the Church on Goldenrod, that the field just on the north side of the church looks like it has been burned (trees are brown, whereas trees in other brushy areas around the church are a nice lush green). AND, being local, I can tell you that from the end of April, through the end of June (start of hurricane season), we had quite a few brush fires here in central Florida. Several "spotty" brush fires throughout the Orlando area, a MAJOR brush fire that occurred in Lake County/Osceola Forest area (north of Orlando), the Palm Bay, Viera & Cocoa area that started Mothers Day weekend and lasted for a couple of weeks until FD was able to contain them all (which is all southeast of Orlando). Certainly KC would have had enough gas to get to any one of these locations and back, on a couple of cans of gas (and have some left over to start a fire).

Do churches in Florida have cemeteries as SC does? What if she is with Zenaida there? Has anyone looked for a Zenaida that is deceased? Maybe Zenaida is a location/marker? Just thought of that.

There was a cemetary mentioned way back when. I think it was when J was searching and we had just found out about the shovel. I had always thought if she had buried her it would have been much easier to dig in freshly dug soil as in a new grave. It would be interesting to see if a ZG is buried there.

I been searching different sites for hours and going through all the docs, I maybe wrong about Amy filling the gas can that was purchased from trget. Maybe confusing Amy filling her own car up for kc before leaving for pr.I will keep checking on that. You know when I first started to ponder this paticular theory I thought the same thing about smoke from a burning body, but after thinking about it for awhile this is what I came up with. I've lived in Florida almost all of my life, I've lived in the panhandle, the northeast the southeast, been to almost every city in Florida, and every single year from about feb until June we have a very dry season, we have alot of wildfires, it is very common. Sometimes its so smoky that they issue warnings not to venture outdoors. Sometimes the fires can be on the other side of the state but the winds will carry the smoke all over the state. So the smoke is just not that big of a deal. Also if you see smoke coming from a wooded area you assume theres a home back there, and someone is burning yard waste, leaves grass clippings. The smell is another matter, have never smelled but it would be bad I imagine. But wouldnt you have to be fairly close to smell it ? And if you did smell it, maybe driving by wouldnt it be like when you are driving along and all off a sudden you smell a skunk or other foul odor, and you say " whew did that stink, must be a dead animal back there" and continue driving. I have never stopped my car to investigate a foul odor, just assume some poor critter didnt make the road crossing. I live two hours south of Orlando, else I would be at the church this morning because that is how strongly I feel about cocoamom's discovery. Asked husband if he would like to go to Orlando for the day, he looked like he would like to strangle me. He thinks I've lost it. But may sneak away for a day trip next week!!!! kc also had alot of cash during that time period 400 stolen from amy, 80 amy loaned her for towing. I think before the 15th of June kc regularly stole gas from her father. Thoughts anyone ?

floridakatz,
I was busy posting and had not read your post yet. Just did, telling you we are onto something, gotta walk away for a moment and think about the map you just talked about..........

Hi Coccoamamma

Im watching the lift off.....I missed it early-er.....but wanted to let you know....how cool my two year old thinks it is!!

It is very, very cool to watch. Renews my faith in America every time I see it. Up close from my building where I work, your clothes vibrate, every hair on your head, your arms, your eyeleashes even vibrate. It roars, but not as loud as you would imagine. Scariest thing is the VAB (that big bldg with the flag painted on it) has these all the way to the top metal roll up doors - they POUND with the vibration! It's always beautiful, scary and exciting all at once. Just amazes me.

The folks that work out there are just like you and me, normal everyday people you see in Walmart, at the mall, getting gas, etc. - well except for the management. You probably don't see them often - they are out on their yachts or at the Country Club ya know? The worker bees are just really great people. Never met anyone of them I didn't like. Hubby works there too - boosters - 30 YEARS!!! Whew! Started at 18 yrs old and has built part of or worked on every booster that has flown - very cool - so proud of him! I've only been there 8 yrs but not going anywhere!

Very scary being there on 9-11 though. Especially after we found out we were 3rd on the terroist list for attacking! Everyone evacuated like ants running from fire - 10,000 employees out there! Hurricanes are always fun too (sarcasm)!! I love being a small part of the team.

Cocoamom what's the update ? Will some of you be going back to the area to search soon ?

Amil - would you please activate your Private Messages? I think it's in the User CP options - top left of the blue bar above..

thanks!

cocoamom,
last nights launch was spectacular, one of the best I've ever seen. It really does make you proud to be an American. Being anywhere on 9-11 was frightening, can't imagine what being there was like, fear on steroids. I don't want to sound stupid but, how do I add a comment to someone else's post ? I'm a newbie still learning the ropes, just glad I have peeps to share ideas with. Husband very tired of hearing about it, lol.

Oh my gosh! I remember that - fire came within 1/2 mile of my house - cough, cough! There were several fires that were "suspect" too - I guess we have some arsonist/firebugs - HA! Never occurred to me that Casey might...head spinning here--

There is a cemetary to the North East of the church on the North side of the river - Chapel Hill Cemetary - I can't find where I saw it but I think one of the Anthony men is buried there. Had some serious feelings about there too..

I'm thinking she used the gas in the car - why spend cash on gas when you can get it for free from dad's shed? Carried the can(s) with her to refill occasionally and for opportunity to put them back. Can't refill the car in the driveway, neighbors would see and she was sloppy. GA said there was gas spilled on the side of her car occasionally didn't he? (link?).

My thinking about the church would be to go during a busy time. More people, less notice - at least now that this is all over 4 message boards. I suspect a lot of people have visited this church now. I am still waiting for word. If I were a church elder and knew of this "circus" for the last few months, I don't know that I would agree but I am hopeful.

I would like to know what it is like at night - any cars? any security guard? she liked men in uniform right? Quick drive in and out, locked doors, no stopping - oops Mr. Groundskeeper - sorry, I made a wrong turn - just turning around....ohhhhh I'm not saying this - desperation makes us think all kinds of things huh?

Exactly ! I was thinking the same thing after I saw that burned patch of trees just north of the church. And remember all the fires that were on the east side of Orlando around that same time, going all the way down the Beachline towards Cocoa ? OMG, OMG, OMG !!! Gas cans, not far from their house...

FWIW, there were absolutely NO astrological indications Caylee was either dismembered or burned. All astrological indicators pointed to watery grave.

IMO, KC would have wanted to "dispose" of the evidence as quickly and cleanly as possible, and the theories of either the dumpster or dropping some sort of container/bag into a body of water fit.

Thanks,
Soulscape

Thank you for the help felt stupid asking but didnt see it in the directions (ok maybe didnt read them all, always been bad about that. lol) I agree that she had always stolen gas from ga cans. But after the 15th it felt like she was trying too hard to set up car alibi " can you believe this two fridays in a row running out of gas " thats what amy said that kc said and it is supported by text msg. But the funny thing is, even though she says this, there is no evidence that she really ran out of gas the friday before the amscot. If she did this twice, I really dont know how much would be left ( sorry I know how bad that sounds) I will try and do some research and find out.

I just looked at it again. Does anyone know how to copy and put a picture in a post from an internet map ?
