CocoaMom's Church Theory

I think that is a superb idea LeLe. A picnic would be lovely. Can't do a darn thing about someone enjoying the great outdoors.

Good idea!

Isn't this part of the church's property, though? Even a picnic would be trespassing...right?

I agree with the previous poster that she didn't burn the body. She is correct that gas is highly flammable but, also explosive. If she doused in gas and set flame she would have likely caught herself on fire as even the fumes explode.

When I asked about a deceased ZG I was thinking of a location between ZF and G. She was adamant about the hyphen. Is there a deceased Zen. Fern?

she makes her own chloroform, you think she is afraid of gas ?

i'm sorry not trying to be a smart aleck, but would you attempt to make your own chloroform ? Not me, would scare me to death, but we know she did because it was found in her trunk.

So many cases I can think of where the perpetrator left the victim's body behind a church.

The more and more I think about this, the more I think this is not true. A regular security guard in the Orlando area makes about 25K per year. Divide that by 2080 working hrs. in a year. That's $12.00 per hr. Multiply that by 24 hrs., that's $289.00 per day. Multiply that by 7 and that's $2019.00 per week. Add to that the cost of CCTV Camera Surveillance by a monitoring company, that could run upwards of $1k per month (depends on how many cameras they are monitoring, how much of the exterior property they are monitoring, and how many hours per day they are monitoring).

So the question now is, does this particular church have it in their budget to pay approx. $9k per month in guarding and CCTV coverage.

I don't know about the security guards but I can tell you that a Christian nonprofit that I worked at did have a motion sensitive video surveillance system and it wasn't near the amount you are quoting per month. So yes, they may very well have one...

That's a possibility, but if they are going to tell Cocoamom that they have 24/7 guards and surveillance cameras, they would get a better deal if they didn't split the service.

Also see my post # 857 on this thread. If they do have one, I hope they saved their tapes, and I hope that a "devine intervention" will have LE looking at those tapes.

I agree that the place needs to be searched, but I don't think people should mess with them unless they outright refuse.

I grew up A/G and I don't know of a single A/G person who wouldn't be sympathetic enough to look for Caylee. I say that the church needs time to present the information to the board now that they've been alerted to the chance that Casey may have disposed of Caylee on their grounds. They don't want a media nightmare and I don't blame them.

I wonder if I have a connection to that church.... I'll ask my parents. They're very involved in the A/G as well so they may know someone who goes to that church or is in leadership.

LI MOM, I believe this was taken at the Amy Ovieda house... I could be wrong. But if is the Ovieda house, is that near the church? And I am not sure who took this pic.. I know I suck.. hope that helps.

Oviedo house is about 10-15 minutes from the park...depending on traffic.

Everyone must understand that in this age of litigious actions, even a small search by a few people opens the church up to the potential for HUGE lawsuits if someone so much as trips and sprains an ankle while on their property. Add to that the potential for damage to grass, flowerbeds and trees with people randomly digging holes to find "burial sites", and they have no reason at all to be cooperative. If LE thought that there was a reason to check there, they would have either asked the church maintenance people to do so, or LE would have shown up to do it themselves. MAYBE they already did check, they are under no obligation to tell anyone that they did so themselves, or that LE has already searched their property. It is called PRIVATE property for a reason.

Our church looked into cctv andthe rep stated that digital loops could be stored for up to 30 days. Even if they have what they say they have, anything they may have recorded would have been lost by the time LE began investigating...KC and those blasted 31 days!

It could have been at Lauren's house, but it was during a party/BBQ with lots of other people, including kids.

I know there are other pics. from this day somewhere on WS, just don't know where:)

My point is, let's try not to harshly judge EVERY pic. that we see and instead look at them realistically.

I agree...I don't think she looks upset at all. I think the ground looks very uneven and she's watching where they walk. She's holding her daughter's hand but not "dragging" her along as she would be if she was upset and bringing her back to the party. Caylee doesn't look upset either IMO. She looks like she's intent on where they are going and Mom's watching so they don't step in a hole or trip on the uneven ground. JMO.

I agree with you that an area surrounding a church could very well be a place to leave a body. Who said on here: "a neutral place?" Someplace between Heaven and Earth.

The bodies are usually discovered by a groundsperson or someone going to church. But the bodies are usually left above ground, in the outer perimeter, such as in tall grass, under leaves, etc.

I think people are always shocked to the max that a body would be found in such a sanctified area, and absolutely indignant that someone would even think it possible, much less want to search there. But, truth be told, it is one of those places you would least suspect.

Wow
I wish I would have waited to go and look at pings because you all came up with what I did. I'm freaking out...Here I thought pings by Amscott were just on her way to AL's apt. but if you look she pings there almost everyday and like mentioned before shes not just passing through, she sometimes stays for awhile.Wow is there anything else that is near there that we might be overlooking? Ping experts is she pinging Amscott while she is at AL'S apt?

Was Casey involved with her parents dogs at all? Near Blanchard park is a dog park. I've never read anything about her interactions with them (yorkies I believe) but I've taken mine to this park from time to time. I do know there's been talk about Caylee mentioning a puppy or puppies...just a thought.

Hasn't anyone ever lost a dog?..Please kind sir, we are looking for my lost dog..here is his picture..have you seen him...May we go out back and take a look?
I realize your tongue might burn a little bit especially telling a fib in church but I would think God would forgive you this time..Thats what I would do if I lived in the area..Who would say no to someone looking for their beloved doggy...Just a thought...

Well ya know, I think I would just have to have a picnic with my "friends" in this area. A picnic is harmless right? You chat, eat, walk & chat, look at the scenery, walk some more & chat...gotta walk off lunch ya know. I would so leave a picnic basket & blanket in site. Course I would make sure I was seen eating as well. Just a thought.

Great place for a lovely afternoon, outdoor bible study.

I remember them saying something about KC lying to the neighbor when she was out walking the dog and I think he had pooped in the yard and KC said it wasn't her dog but the neighbor knew it was. That was at the beginning of the case.
