(sorry VERY new to the board and full of questions that have probably been covered a million times)

I really buy into Cocoa's theory. It makes so much sense.


One thing I don't understand is how rigomortis (sp??) works?? Wouldn't it be hard to move Caylee and stuff her into a bag if that had happened???

How could a mother deal with a stiff dead child and stuff her into a bag? That had to be really horrible. Then again, KC is indeed a horrible person.

On that particular map, the area within the red circle. Look at the difference in color where you see lush green in the outer circumfrence, but a burned brownish area near the bottom center and bottom right hand side.

Yes that is the church..try downloading Google Earth, you can see more of the woods but I don't know about the burning theory - just don't feel it - too complicated, smelly (gas/smoke), dangerous - might burn herself, etc...I don't know - maybe..

Gas cans have always bothered me too.Why did she take them that day?? She didnt have her car, or did she? did TONE need gas or something? How stupid to tell your new b/f that I need to go steal gas cans from my dad,I'll be right back?? I wonder what shetold him she needed it for ??Strange thought a girl around here recently died from "huffing" so weird I could'nt believe it,a young mother of two. Wonder if she was into that .I always thought she was into drugs, it would eplain some of her behaviors ie..not being able to keep/get a job staying up all night etc...Who knows..Gas cans bother me though...

It bothers me a lot that NONE of her friends or her new boyfriend found it weird that she was gathering gas cans and running out of gas all the time even though she supposedly had this fantastic job at Universal!!!!

From the map link you PM'd me, you are too far South - wrong church. Go just North of Hwy 50 aka Colonial Drive on left/West side of Goldenrod. Also round and steeple shows in maps.

Hawk's Hollow just shows as a very small hard to see clearing on the Northwest side of the retention pond - hard to see - review the pics and you will get a better idea...

This JC Penney receipt is ALWAYS on my mind!!!! Too much secrecy -seems that the Anthony's should be in some kind of trouble for stalling on it like they did - isn't that obstruction of justice???

I agree. The human body is 90-something-percent water, after all.

Also, she'd have to have something else to burn as fuel, such as a bunch of wood. Because even dousing the body with gasoline would not burn it up very quickly -- skin surfaces would char and blister, but the gasoline will "burn off" and without some other type of fuel that burns easily to keep fire going, the fire would go out fairly soon.

AND, burning with gasoline is dangerous. When you light it, it goes up at first with a "whump!" like an explosion, and if she had poured very MUCH gasoline, it would have gone up with a BIG "WHUMP!" -- she could have caught on fire herself from that, singed eyebrows and/or hair, and received a flash-burn on her face (looks like sunburn).

I'm more of the opinion that she was just stealing gasoline because she couldn't afford to keep her car filled up. Remember, gasoline prices were very high this summer.

This whole gas can thing has bothered me from the beginning. She supposedly gave GA the ones she took. She bought another one with AH but wasn't that after she got rid of her car? I can't keep track of this anymore..lol..The logical thought would be she was using the can for gas but what if she was filling it with something else? Has the can she bought ever been discovered and if not where is it? I would be interested if the cans she gave back to GA actually held gas in them or something else.

Went to the map above and hit Birds Eye and zoomed in but had to slide forever up to get church in view. From this view you can see the land very well and it is just clearings not burned. Also looked at other wooded area around church and several are the same. Wish it would have been and Caylee was there. Still think the area needs to be searched regardless of clearing reason. Think Cocoamom is on to something.

This is one chick thats gotta lotta experience with gas, no pun intended, thats why shes not far. within a couple of hundred feet of where she did it on the 15th, and where the car was parked in her secret special place. Shes been at bbq's shes seen drunk as she would say "boys" do dumb things when starting the grill after a couple of beers. She had her nails done after the 15th and the 18th, I think she was saying ok to get the nails done now.

Those nails are not real!! If they were, they would have been on her fingers when she came out of jail!!! You might be on to something really good and timeline relate here!!

It doesn't bother me one little bit.....

LE would have made note of the lack of cooperation and simply gotten the evidence from JCP.

And you can be sure the prosecution is quite happy to have an extensive & well documented record of all the Anthony's behaviors, 'obstruction' & mis-truths when they finally get to present their complete case against Casey in court.

Haven't officially researched it but from watching CSI and stuff
:woohoo: The body goes stiff within a couple hours of death and then relaxes again then stiffens again and stays that way. The relax period is a lot longer but don't remember how long - anybody know this?

I wonder if the reason she had the body in the trunk for 2 plus days is really because it was just too stiff to move? Especially if she used any kind of container to transport the body from her car to a new spot, she might have been forced to wait until the muscles relaxed again.



If so, she could have been scouting out good places to dump the body while she waited.

I've often wondered about how she dealt with rigor mortis. Maybe that is why she left her in the trunk.

MAYBE there are computer searches about rigor mortis on her computer that LE hasn't released yet. KC trying to figure out when she could deal with the body.

Wouldn't that be interesting.....

It's not clear whether LE has the gas cans that she gave back to GA. I haven't seen them listed as evidence in any of the documents. CA does mention them in one of her interviews with LE and she states that they had been used by Lee after they were returned to GA.

The gas cans that she allegedly bought with AH also do not show up in any of the documents that have been released. I do not believe that they were in the car when LE took possesion of it.
