I've often wondered about how she dealt with rigor mortis. Maybe that is why she left her in the trunk.

MAYBE there are computer searches about rigor mortis on her computer that LE hasn't released yet. KC trying to figure out when she could deal with the body.

Wouldn't that be interesting.....

I can't wait to hear about all the things this witch searched for on her computer. Ugh.

It could also explain the stain.... she might have simply placed Caylee's body in the trunk without any covering... thinking she wouldn't have it there for long.

When rigor set in, she was too grossed out to cover it & protect the carpet from the decomposition.

Hi all..My question is has anyone established how long and at what times KC was sleeping? I would think that KC would have had a safe place where she could go and wouldn't be seen just to hang out or sleep when she couldn't go home and had no where else to go. It's always bothered me that she would leave for her fake job but would she have bummed around stores to pass time. Two years of lying about working is a very long time for no one to have seen her someplace so doesn't it make sense that she would have had a spot that was safe? I think Cocoamoms church would be a perfect place for that and if she felt comfortable there it makes sense that's where she would go to hide Caylee...I wonder if LE has questioned people in the areas that KC's pings were at to see if anyone noticed anything unusual?

June 17th, 18th, 19th conversation: Casey was going to buy a house over by the dump on Curry Ford Rd. That 250,000.00 was cheap for a house and her and her mom where going to get a new house for her. Just her and Caylee. Her parents were going to get a divorce and she didn’t like her Dad because he would get involved in her life too much and put his beliefs on her

I think she spouted off all of these details and lies to create alibis....she is sooooooo full of you know what!

Gas cans have always bothered me too.Why did she take them that day?? She didnt have her car, or did she? did TONE need gas or something? How stupid to tell your new b/f that I need to go steal gas cans from my dad,I'll be right back?? I wonder what shetold him she needed it for ??Strange thought a girl around here recently died from "huffing" so weird I could'nt believe it,a young mother of two. Wonder if she was into that .I always thought she was into drugs, it would eplain some of her behaviors ie..not being able to keep/get a job staying up all night etc...Who knows..Gas cans bother me though...

One theory I had was that KC borrowed the shovel to break into the shed to steal the gas cans so she made sure she wouldn't run out of gas while she had Caylee in the trunk. The gas might have helped hide the smell of decomp because when she gave the cans to GA on the
24th it was only a few days..27th.. that she dumped the car at amscot. I put my gas can in the back of my jeep when I go to fill it up and I can't wait to get home to get it out cause it smells so much..Can you imagine how much it smelled being locked in a trunk with Florida heat. I don't know if I believe GA when he said the shed was broken into, I think it was done the same day KC went back to the house to pick up the body around the 18th.

Everytime the defense tries to bring up what a good mother Casey was & how much she loved Caylee... they should show this pic.

OMG that is just crazy! Has anyone ever taken a picture of YOU with a "less than thrilled look on your face?" while you were with someone you know and love? I am NOT saying this in defense of Casey just that some things around here are getting a bit silly.....

Having her nails done could also explain a time gap when she wasn't using her phone for at least an hour. Any idea of where she had her nails done?

I read at the Body Farm that once decomp sets in the rigor mortis lets up. It sounds interesting.That (if I remember right) is also when the body begins to leak fluids from ears,nose,mouth, etc..it is graphic but a good read.
P.S. the fluids leak froma body not embalmed.

Hey Cocoamom;

On my search team last weekend, we had a Private Investigator that has some contacts within the local FBI field office in Orange County. I still have his business card and can give him a call if you think it might help ? Another idea may be to actually "attend" the church enough times to have them realize that you (or any of us) are not kooks, cause that may be what they are thinking. Also, if they have 24/7 guards, I wonder who they work for. I happen to be in the security guard / investigation/security systems business and am just curious if they work for the same company that I do. If they do, I may be able to see if I can get the guards to search the property. It is their job after all to ensure their client's property is safe for the well being of the business......

cocoamom: I haven't had time to read this entire thread, but I think your theory is extremely interesting and well-thought out!

Kudos to you for thinking outside the box and going your own way. I like that. There is too much group thinkage going on, and sometimes when everyone is looking in one direction, they miss clues on the other side of the street - where you went.

Cocaomom - Have you ever been down Fabian Street? It's directly across the street from the Amscott and it goes down toward a pond. At the end portion of that street, there are no houses and there is thick foliage. About half-way into this portion of the street there appears to be an embankment that goes into the water. This is also an area where KC could have parked in relative seclusion and dropped the body without being noticed. Someone else posted about this and I have been unable to find their original post. The location fits in well with some of your theories about the church area and it is so close, it would be great if you (with others) could have a look!

not sure what to read into these developments, but the thing that really strikes me is if they really had cameras you would have been stopped. But I agree le needs to do the searching. Even if this is not the secret place, it will be a place very much like it.

You planted the seed. No doubt this will be discussed among church officials/employees and the urge to search may just win. Can't imagine them not searching if there is a slim chance Caylee may be found.

Wonder if there's a pair of (replacement) black and brown flip flops on that JCP credit card receipt that CA was so adamant about not having anything on it of any value.....:waitasec:

Just thinking out loud here -

As soon as she dumped the body, she's thinking, "gotta get rid of this car and this horrible smell before it sets into the clothes I'm wearing". Dumps the body near the church, dumps the car at Amscott..they are in very close proximity to each other.
