But his aunt, Aimee Tennie, 31, told the Record that no one has come forward to family with this information, despite widespread public appeal, leaving them feeling "something isn't right".
She said: "The story is that a boy Cole knows was doing a job up in Bonnybridge, he was meeting a friend at Mango Restaurant car park with a tool for the job.
"He said he he saw Cole and they spoke briefly and that Cole mentioned to this boy his phone was broke, but never mentioned where he had come from or where he was going. This boy said he was not aware that Cole was missing at this time.
"Police have no physical evidence of this interaction and what we would like answered is; these people stated they saw Cole in the same area the last footage of him was taken.
"Neighbours in this area have already provided this footage of Sunday May 4. So why have they not picked Cole up on CCTV after this interaction on Wednesday May 7. And why has no one come forward to us about seeing him between May 4 and May 7?"
