Gyms in Colorado can stay open under Level 3 COVID restrictions | 9news.com
State loosens COVID-19 restrictions on gyms after a day of confusion
Gyms in counties under Level 3 restrictions can now operate indoors at 25% capacity, or 25 people, whichever is fewer.
Personally I think this is stupid. And gyms being open is why a bunch of Denver mothers got together and picketed saying if gyms are open their kids should be able to go to school. I agree w/them, but don’t think the gyms should be open either. The made the variance because people complained. And probably the “right” people since the exception was announced later the same day.

We need to increase social distancing in our stare. The problem is that these measures are unpopular and elected officials are hesitant to impose them right before an election. I hope to see some action starting November 4th.

We had nearly 3000 positive cases today which shattered our previous record and ski season is just around the corner. People are going to be anxious to get back to skiing and will be coming up here by the thousands and that means this pandemic is only going to get worse.

They also said that yesterday Colorado had the largest day to day case increase on record. And people don’t understand why I want to stay home?

Colorado COVID-19 Data Much Worse, Deniers Don't Care

“The latest data from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment about COVID-19 is startlingly bad, with third-wave case numbers close to triple those of the first two waves, and hospitalizations at a point not seen since April. But even with Denver and Adams counties now classified as high-risk areas and several other municipalities flirting with a potential stay-at-home designation, a percentage of the populace spent this weekend engaging in pandemic-defying behavior, including a so-called "MAGA Drag the Interstate" rally and Halloween parties allegedly involving scads of University of Colorado Boulder students.“
