So they do have the doorbell, camera deal at this school. So very sad.

My kids' school doesn't have anything.

I know in my son's school which I am sure is like most other schools, there are multiple doors, cafeteria doors, courtyard doors, hallway doors, most if not all are to remain locked.

What I hate is when I see parents that are TOO lazy to walk out the main doors and use other exits for convenience(even though there are signs on doors). I have mentioned this to school but I bet this happens every day in schools all over, not to mention kids who may exit doors.

At my sons school, other than parents of preschoolers or kg'rs none of the parents enter the school.

I think the Cheshire Home Invaders will be the last people executed in CT- I believe that we just revoked the death penalty.

I wonder if representatives who repealed it are reconsidering now.
Especially if the second shooter is alive.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but I just heard that CT does not have the death penalty.

Maybe that's better in this case, not that the shooter(s) do not deserve it, but imagine what life would be like for any inmate who shot and killed 18 young children. I'd guess much harder than the DP. IMO of course.

No news stations know anything really, everyone is speculating. 20 or 24 yr. old. Parent, not parent. One shooter, two shooters....etc. Gotta go get DS from school now, hopefully I won't miss the presser...bbl.
