Perhaps this has been posted or is just mentioning some of the same things we have heard.

http://seattletimes.com/avantgo/2019939976.html

"A preliminary examination of his cellular telephone showed that he had made or received few, if any calls, investigators and others familiar with the matter said. No information has yet emerged from investigators on any possible text messages he may have sent or received."

"Lanza had thousands of dollars worth of video games as well as an X-Box, although it appears he rarely if ever used it, preferring to play violent video games on his computer with other anonymous gamers investigators were told."

"Although authorities know that Lanza was the shooter, police are pursuing the case as an active murder investigation until they understand what happened and why. At least three search warrants have been filed under seal in Superior Court in Danbury, Conn., according to Geoffrey Stowell, deputy chief clerk of the court. Two of them can be unsealed Dec. 28, and one can be unsealed Dec. 30, he said."

Someone help me oout here, Why would they be sealed since the killer is dead? And why a certain date to unseal.

And if they are search warrants that are sealed does this mean they have been searched?

My bet for search warrants would be mother's home, vehicles and probably father or brother's home.

I took it that little Grace casket was open when watching the parents interview with Anderson Cooper.

Mom stated that after they did their family hug of Gracie, they wrote with their sharpies all on her little white casket.

I didn't get that impression, but that doesn't mean anything. I thought she said final goodbye or something. I didn't hear her real clearly. Thank you.

I have spent a whole day trying to find an article I read yesterday morning that had info on it about a group of school children that took an old horse at the riding stables that all the kids were afraid to ride and they fed him apples and peppermints and brushed him out and pampered him and allowed him to roll in the dirt all in memory of the victim that loved horses. My daughter wanted to read it and I haven't been able to find it, anyone see it?

I also noticed yesterday that Jack Pinto had an open casket viewing, I was so happy that at least one family was able to see their loved one once more. I feel it would be very hard for me to accept if I didnt see my loved one. Sorry for the gruesomeness.

Do they need a search warrant for mom's house when it is a crime scene tho?

The more I read, the more I wonder if this was a special needs classroom.

:what: I am with you!
Which is causing my ♥ rate and b/p to go up, up, up!!!

Guessing; his mother's house, his father's house...could the 3rd be a doctor's files on him?

Hmmm... yeah, I wonder. Although don't they sometimes get a search warrant, say for the home and it only covers specific things. Later they get another one? I wonder if one was for the home, later to follow up on something they found (doctor, school records, bank credit card records, another phone/computer?) and if they had to get search warrants for the cars? I don't think they would get one from the dad's home? I bet dad is also cooperating fully if needed.

http://rt.com/usa/news/newtown-massacre-adam-otoole-426/

have not seen the photo in above article before

http://www.radaronline.com/exclusiv...tting-worse-burning-himself-months-sandy-hook

in this article the picture of him in the Old Navy (orange) hoodie I saw that photo earlier and the article said it was from catholic school he attended. How old does he appear in that photo?

That RT.com story repeats the claim from the bogus 'uncle' about AL taking Fanapt. That claim is unproven and the 'uncle' is a well known scammer whose name shall not be repeated. :banghead: (This was discussed in an earlier thread and all links to stories with that used him as a source were removed.)

:heartbeat:Oregon tree farmer Larry Tuefel whose family business sent 26 wreaths to the Newtown firehouse who dispatched first responders.

Thanks for sharing this. At this time of year, evergreens are mindful of strength, endurance, hope, and protection. Circular wreaths symbolize continuity and everlasting life. A meaningful, thoughtful, warm remembrance of the victims and those who sought to save them from harm. :rose:

From the same article....
"New reports have revealed that Adam Lanza had gotten into an altercation with four teachers at the school, the day before the shooting." I hadn't heard this before - sorry if it is old news to you all - but really? Did he go to the school the day before the shootings?

LE has said they have no reports of an altercation. No link but it was in one of the press conferences over last weekend that have transcripts up on CNN.

I believe those were her words and she talked of them putting Gracies favorite things "with her" We placed her favorite purse, sun glasses, flip flops, sea shells a frying pan (cause she love to cook) her Dad's favorite new york yankie hat. We placed those things "with her" cause those were her favorite things and we knew she would want them with her.

I took that as being an open casket. Those words of her Mom speaking are so fresh in my mind. I'm not good with short term memorial, but these parents that have come out and spoken has broken my heart for them.

Just heard this on the radio when I was driving and had to pull over and cry. Makes me think of all the victims of Sandy Hook, Lyric and Elizabeth and Jessica.

I don't know, they seem to want to keep this under wraps to some extent?

I bet all has been searched by now.

I can only speculate based on our own experience: every three years school districts complete an MFE: multi-factor evaluation, in which IEP goals are reviewed, IQ testing is done, and diagnosis reviewed. Initial diagnosis is by a physician and on the basis of that, an IEP is put into place. If the shooter were at Sandy Hook in fifth grade he would have been up for an evaluation that school year. The school psychologist does do an evaluation of him also for the MFE...it's possible if it was the same psychologist as when he was in fifth grade, he could have 'blamed' her for some reason. The fact that one of the children had special needs and died along with his teacher's aide in her arms has haunted me...did he have a purpose in taking out the school psychologist and principal, as 'authority figures' - did he want to stop another child from going through the system of testing and evaluations? Did he try to destroy this school and these innocent lives because he blamed them for setting him on the 'wrong' path? These questions HAUNT me.

The special ed process is much the same here. My DD is ADHD and also Gifted/Talented Arts. Generally speaking, her ADHD does not require any special allowances be made to accommodate her, so her IEP focuses on her goals within the gifted program.

But we still meet twice a year to review, have quarterly progress reports sent to us around report card time, and what seems like a mountain of documentation is kept on her.

If AL were a student in any public school, I am sure there is quite a bit of paperwork to show for it. WAAAY more than for the typical child.

Since LE hasn't released much info, we really don't know WHAT they know. They may have had an extensive school history on AL by Saturday morning.

You guys are sleuthing pics again that may not be the killer's. If you find a pic of the killer and you are 100% SURE it is him - without a doubt - then you can discuss it. But you cannot, I mean canNOT, discuss his family's pics online.

This thread will remain closed while I try to find the posts that are discussing it. Next time I'm pulling out the ray gun.

Thanks QueenD. That makes sense, I was thinking at the time that the funeral home placed them in the casket for them. I wonder then if these are the two children that died at the hospital since they apparently didn't have head injuries.

Thank you Kimster for clarification. Oh dear, I didn't know that the posted photos of Nancy L or father or brother, should not be posted in any of the threads. I saw them through out the threads, with comments of whether Nancy looked rested, etc. Didn't know those were all taken down. Sorry.
