.@cesarmillan Foundation asks the public to turn off holiday lights Friday in honor of CT victims. #LightsOutforNewtown cbsloc.al/VbcyhS
Why would they turn OFF the holiday lights? Who needs more darkness in a time of such dispair? That makes no sense to me?
But we do not know if he was knocking on these doors to find specific people. Actually, we probably will never know because the coward killed himself and smashed his hard drive.
I so wish they could repair it and see if he visited the Sandy Hook website at all? Trying to gather information on where specific people would be?
I think one thing that should change is the teachers putting their specific classroom numbers on the school's webpage. Maybe parents should be given a specific password to be able to gain access to the comings and goings of the school through their website instead of it being available to anyone who wants to see. I don't like the idea of anyone having so much information about the comings and goings of the children in a school environment. He may have very well known that it was Gingerbread House making day and that the school would be much more relaxed. A lot of children would be gathered in groups instead of sitting in their individual seats making it easier to fire at them in one direction?
I don't know? It's just still so hard to comprehend that this even happened.

Right on , I was so much going to post I disagree with the idea, sounds to be more in line with energy saving.
The victims should have lights on forever!

Interesting no evidence that he attended there for 2nd grade - yet 1st and 3rd he was there.
Now I'm wondering just what went on with this child in those early years. We really aren't being given any information on his medical history. He was in 1st grade when they moved there - went to Sandy Hook. Then not there for one school year and then back again for 3rd.
There have been no statements at all concerning ANY diagnoses (did I spel that right? :crazyon him from ANY age.
Very early on is when we got the brother's statement that he was developmentally disabled (? - isn't that what he said?) and then Aspergers was mentioned and people ran with that.
Was that 2nd grade year spent in testing - possibly therapy, hospitalized, getting medication right? My mind is reeling here.
Then after the year he was diagnosed as being able to go back to "normal" school? Only the family knows this. Only mom, dad and brother actually know what happened during that year.
And maybe Mrs. Sherlach knew - well she would have had access to at least some of those records when he attended 3rd grade (came back).
Dad moved out when he was 9 - that's around 4th/5th grade. Very shortly after he "came back".
JMHO this is going to be a very disturbing picture we finally get. I've noticed that no one is including NL as a victim. Obama didn't recognize her - said 26 victims. All the memorials are for 26 victims - the Xmas trees, the wooden angels, the wreaths, etc. That's sad, but telling.
People in that town know. People talk. People that are life-long residents - grew up there - were around when AL was in 1st, 2nd 3rd grade - and on up and yet they aren't recognizing mom as a victim. Very telling iffen ya ask me.......................

Jumping off your thought... I had a hard time understanding why people were taking down their Christmas decorations in CT after the shooting last Friday. I couldn't help but think about the siblings of those 20 children as well as the other kids at that elementary school and in the community.
It is traumatic for them but it is still Christmas and I feel you have to carry on for them. jmo
I'm way behind but I have a couple of thoughts on why he missed going to 2nd grade there. Could it be that the school wanted to have him tested and the parents did not agree? Sometimes it's hard for parents to hear that their child is not perfect especially if the older sibling really excels.
My second thought is this is around the time where I think it was getting rough in the home. If the parents were fighting a lot especially either in front of the kids or within ear shot that can have huge impacts on the kids. This could have been the starting point for the problems that AL had.

Lastly, this is in no way directed at you WOO, but I'm getting so tired of hearing there were 26 victims. No there was 27!!! Nancy Lanza was a victim. She was brutally murdered by the son that she took full responsibility of. She was the parent dealing with AL not PL.

Someone help me out here....the DL photo. His eyes do NOT look blue in that picture. Is it because his pupils are huge? In other pictures his eyes are very clearly blue, as are the dads.
