“She was a country girl” who loved to hunt with a falcon that would scare game she’d blast out of the sky, he said....
"She had “at least a dozen” firearms — mainly larger rifles,” the friend added. He said he didn’t know anything about the pistols."

“Adam learned how to shoot a rifle by the time he was 9 years old,” ...

Nancy owned guns before her divorce?
Who knows with all the faulty reporting.

I am sorry but that is patently ridiculous. You don't use a falcon to scare game out of the sky so you can "blast" it. The falcon IS the hunter. I wish people who have nothing to say would stop making things up.

2010 Dad got married??

Yes, the reporting seems to be consistent that the dad was remarried around 2009-10...AL dropped out of college the same year at age 16.

Well that is short and to the point. Wonder if they came across something they do not want revealed to the public. I don't know. I think weird especially since he promised they would get all the info and get to the motive. Maybe they did and just aren't ready to release it. jmo

It will take months to interview everyone and investigate everything so they can draw up a final report. As with any investigation they will not release anything prematurely.

Have you looked through the official documents from the Columbine shooting?
There are thousands of pages of interviews and investigative procedures. I believe everything was released to the public except for some of the home videos labeled the "basement tapes" the killers made. All of the physical evidence was put on public display (bloody clothes were kept in sealed evidence bags thank goodness).

This is all very confusing. Not only did they initially say that Adam never went there as a student, but they also said his mom had no connection there at the school, but she might have been a volunteer at one time.

So did she volunteer there or was she an aide or a teacher? I still do not have clarity on that.

And did she volunteer when he was a student there?

Maybe the man telling this ludicrous story was repeating what Nancy had told him. She also told some people Axxx was going away to college in Washington state to (be an engineer?) at approx. the same time she was trying to get power of attorney over Axxx (Axxx was mentally incompetent).

From the 17th:
In their last press conference of the day, Connecticut State Police revealed the Sandy Hook Elementary School gunman had no ties to the school.

"Suspect had no connection to the school according to Newtown Police," Channel 7's Jeff Pegues tweeted from the state police's news conference.

To clarify, Pegues tweeted he assumed the state police meant Lanza had no recent connection since there have been reports Lanza attended the school years ago.

State police have said that Adam Lanza had “no connection” to the school, and school officials disputed an early report that his mother had worked there.

“No one has heard of her,” Lillian Bittman, who served on the local school board until 2011, told The Wall Street Journal last Friday. “Teachers don’t know her.”

It's a bit strange imo because I think in most schools the teachers would try to make a point of knowing the parents of all their special needs children.
Maybe the ones who knew her are dead or don't work there anymore? IDK

I am sorry but we don't know that NL was ever trying to declare AL incompetent. There is no evidence for that.
And I don't consider a guy claiming somebody told him that as evidence.

Also the same yr the guns were bought and the same yr he stopped getting his hair cut...

I believe later on LE started claiming AL had no recent connection to the school. It would be 10 years ago that he finished elementary school.

Well it would kind of go without saying that a 20-year-old didn't go to a K4 elementary school recently. What people were interested in probably was whether he went there when he was that age.

As I posted last night, there was also a neighbor that stated this same thing to Fox News.

An anonymous neighbor. None of it is convincing at the least.

You are so right. I looked it up and even watched a video. A beautiful sport. jmo

Wendy---Thanks for your comments....it's so obvious the divorce was a life changing event for AL

AL's friend (Diaz ?) from the college said he spoke to NL about how her son was doing and NL said AL's spending a lot of time at the shooting range....Lots of Anger...Red Flags are pretty glaring

It sounds like NL and PL were separated long before the divorce.

Highly regulated, apparently.

Reportedly they separated in 2001. He lived with his present wife 3 years and then they married in 2010. jmo
