Would you please supply a link where the dad and brother said this.
They did NOT say this. That is what I'm saying.

CJMAJORGIRL24 the Lanza's divorce mediation documentation mentions the shooter having Aspergers Syndrome. Beyond that, we do not have REAL documented evidence the shooter suffered from other things.
You included him as a "28th victim" in the context of the Newtown tragedy.
Yes, I see what you're saying.I see what you're saying; but the context of the news report leading with the survivalist stuff with the December 21st gibberish being in the news the past couple of weeks makes it more sensationalized in the sense that "Did the CT Shooter's Mom think the world was going to end and prepping for fighting the zombies?" gets your attention and makes the shooter's mother so different than you and I that it gains our interest in a weird way. Whereas in the full context of the interview one is left with the impression that Nancy Lanza was an awesome mother who unconditionally loved her sons and at family functions was always on the floor playing with the children (we can all relate to that type of person but the doomsday prepper not so much). Hopefully that clarifies it a bit.
My point is that you include a murderer in the list of his own victims.Well, aren't there 28 people in Newtown dead? Isn't Adam a resident of Newtown? What's your point?
I am shocked he was allowed to get a driver's license. It doesn't sound like he needed to ever be behind the wheel of a car.

Jump to what conclusions? You are jumping around, hard for me to follow, from those wrongfully convicted, to worrying that people are saying bad things about NL. I agree, the press should be held more accountable. I don't think most people on this site are so gullible though so I am not sure who you are talking to.
I said weapons, guns or otherwise. Although I support a ban on assault weapons, I don't think it would have stopped AL. He was intent on killing and he would have used whatever he had even if he had to make a bomb, imo. He planned this meticulously and he had the brains to do it.. We will never get rid of all guns in this country and I will not blame NL directly or indirectly for having guns. I wish someone at the school had a gun when he showed up.
Yes, but there she is, and stating it as fact. The reporter's not exactly pulling teeth, it doesn't appear. Nothing sensationalized about it.
Marsha Lanza: "The last time we visited her in person, yeah, we talked about prepping, and, you know, how to get ready for what can happen down the line when the economy collapses."
Not saying ML is telling the truth; just saying she stated this as fact.
GIRL24--- Yeah, I agree, we never have heard Lanza ever suffering from any disability or illness
I think soon more intel will be revealed
I do NOT believe that our fellow WS posters are gullible, frankly I think those here at WS are some of the most insightful, caring, knowledgeable and respectful folks that one can ever come across. I think the respect for and learning from opinions that are different than our own is one of the best things about WS and is rarely found on similar forums. That being said, since misinformation/inaccurate "reporting" doesn't get the publicity that initial reporting receives, since this thread #8 has started we've seen several posts still mentioning inaccurate reports as facts or questionable reporting as accurate.
No man is an island entire of itself; every man
is a piece of the continent, a part of the main;
if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe
is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as
well as any manner of thy friends or of thine
own were; any man's death diminishes me,
because I am involved in mankind.
And therefore never send to know for whom
the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.
-- John Donne, Meditation XVII (1624)
I agree. Thank you. I was just thinking with it being Christmas and all the children that are in need, that's all. But I totally agree, it is too soon.
I disagree. The guns were readily available. It's possible he would have found a way, or not. I think AL couldn't have planned this in short order. He probably already knew to tape the cartridges together, they were probably also available in the house, as was probably the hunting vest.
Yes. It was all too convenient for him. He had a ready made cache of weapons, and had experience shooting them.
I meant to say that I think he 'could have' planned all this in short order.. not 'couldn't have'
I don't know. If he wanted to afford her a more "humane" death, he would not have shot her four times in the head/face. AL was obviously extremely angry at NL for whatever reason and I am willing to bet he probably woke her up. He would have wanted her to know what was going to happen.
"She had a car accident where she wore leg braces for many years. We never talked about any [financial settlement] that happened with that."
"Public records show Nancy and Peter once jointly owned the house where Nancy's body was found on Friday, but Mark says Peter never lived there. The two were "definitely" not together when the Nancy and her sons arrived in Newtown some 17 years ago, he said."
