Connecticut school district on lockdown after shooting report at a Newtown elemen #8

Over the past year and a half, Ford said, Nancy Lanza had told him that she planned to move out West and enroll Adam in a “school or a center.” The plan started unfolding after Adam turned 18.
“He wouldn’t be dwelling with her,” said Ford, who remembered that Adam Lanza never spoke to him or even made eye contact.
Ford said Nancy Lanza didn’t elaborate on what type of services she wanted her son to receive. He hadn’t seen her in about a month and a half, and said she made fewer appearances at the restaurant in recent months.

A school or a center? A center? IMO, this is another source that shows that Nancy was planning on institutionalizing the killer in a residential facility for the mentally challenged/developmentally disabled. There are residential facilities that are also "schools" that teach independent living skills for those that might someday be discharged to a group home or other supported living arrangement.

(Russell Ford is a friend of Nancy Lanza’s who had also done chimney and pipe work on her house.)

There are two guys making a realistic shooting game of Sandy Hook. They are working on getting the inside of the classrooms exact as well as the victims. *sick*

This one has been addressed, correct me if I am wrong but this was a father/teacher at the school and was looking for his daughter. I forgot his name.

Maybe the pants just happened to be worn on a bad day. it had nothing to do with it so I do not feel it needs to be covered more by media but that is moo.

Do Jewish people believe that Jesus is a saviour? And do they believe in this christian version of heaven? Because at least one of those poor kids was Jewish.

From the last thread, locked before I could respond. No we do NOT believe Jesus is a savior, nor the son of God, he was the son of Joseph, a man only, and born Jewish. We also do not believe in Hell, therefore our heaven is not "Christian".

Is there not a report somewhere of A yelling at people to "open the door" while on his rampage? I'm sure I read he was yelling at some point. The first reports I read stated he did not say a word when he got inside the school and started shooting.

I remember that. Story, wherever it was, appears to having been taken down now. (My likely suspect, Daily Mail, does have a 'Put your hands up' still available.)

NEWTOWN -- As the nation's attention turned to Newtown in the aftermath of the horrific school shooting, Tom Lanza and his wife -- who raised three daughters in town -- were in Ohio and unaware of the carnage.

"Oh my God," Lanza's wife said as she learned the news on her iPhone. "You won't believe it."

What also surprised them was how many reporters confused their family with the unrelated young man who was responsible.

While I agree that children are influencd by these three things, the "shooter" in this case was not a child. The shooter in this case had a motive, the means, and an opportunity to do this. IF just ONE of the three would have been absent, so many lives could have been saved.
