My head is going to explode. We have an article a few pages back saying that Nancy was once known for the game nights she hosted, other articles saying that she was the only one of the bunco group that didn't host game night.

We have reports that he was wearing a bulletproof vest, others say he was wearing a utility vest.

We have reports that he hasn't seen his father since he was 18, or was it when he was 3?

I swear there is a smiley for this...

I don't think we need a smiley for this, I believe we need a head turning every which way in confusion. I wonder if the confusion is on purpose. Stranger things have happened.

My opinion only

I personally have been doing this ----->:banghead:

It has been a week, some of the confusion should/could have been straightened out by now. jmo

We all know that we really don't know what we would do if we were the family of this shooter.....but I wonder if maybe his dad might give some information out if at some point in time he discovers something that might have happened to this shooter that he thinks would cause this....just seems like that would be something that would at least try to explain this needless massacre....I just don't see how anyone can really move forward if no "motive" ever is revealed. IMO.....
And I do know they will move forward but dang it........

Was there a man in camo pants and dark jacket who was handcuffed & put into a police car AND another man who was supposedly a dad who was there for the gingerbread making thing? The dad who supposedly visited... well, I think somewhere in all these threads someone posted his initials and said something like... I don't think we will be hearing anything else about him.

Residential Habilitation Centers (RHC)
RHCs are state-operated residential settings that provide habilitation training, 24-hour supervision, and medical/nursing services for clients who meet Medicaid eligibility and need active treatment services. An RHC may be certified as an Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/ID) and/or licensed as a Nursing Facility. In addition, respite and other specialized services may be available to clients living in the community. There are four RHCs in Washington State.
Fircrest School Shoreline, Washington
Lakeland Village, Medical Lake, Washington
Rainier School, Buckley, Washington
Yakima Valley School, Selah, Washington

Over the past year and a half, Ford said, Nancy Lanza had told him that she planned to move out West and enroll Adam in a “school or a center.” The plan started unfolding after Adam turned 18.
“He wouldn’t be dwelling with her,” said Ford, who remembered that Adam Lanza never spoke to him or even made eye contact.
Ford said Nancy Lanza didn’t elaborate on what type of services she wanted her son to receive. He hadn’t seen her in about a month and a half, and said she made fewer appearances at the restaurant in recent months.

Based on the friend's statement, it seems obvious (to me) that NL was more than likely looking into placing AL in a residential program (whether in WA state or elsewhere) so that he could receive therapy & learn to take care of himself.

It's a horrific tragedy that she wasn't able to accomplish that goal.

I think personally, we SHOULD LET THIS GO! There very well COULD have been a FATHER there that day that chose to RUN. To me it is the only thing that makes sense in light of what we have heard.

He came to visit, heard shots, ran, got arrested while in hiding. Which one of you want to tell his children he ran in the face of danger? Which one of you want to tell his children instead of trying to save them, he hid in the woods?

LET IT GO!!! MOO!

Why? Some of us are confused. We would like to get to the BOTTOM of some of this stuff. Is that wrong?

No it isn't wrong. But if this father did run instead of dying trying to save his children, do you want them , or his family to know that?

IMO Sometimes the price of truth is too high.

Are you a mind reader? LOL !! I have been thinking A LOT about what we have been told, and how much this has changed since day one. It shouldn't be THIS confusing.

I have even read conflicting reports about cameras in the school. At this point, I don't know wha or even who I should believe. Goes back to

What you are saying is understandable IF there was only 1 man. IF there were 2, it changes things. In light of what we know is pretty dark. (JMO)

Up to date nurses correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't humidity bad for those with MS? If so, I can 't see N moving herself to Washington state.

I think that camo wearing man was the gingerbread dad and he did get into the school looking for his daughter which is where the police found him. After handcuffing him and taking him out it some how turned into him being found in the woods.

Did she really have a choice?
I wonder what happened here...

"Peter Lanza transferred ownership of their Yogananda Street house to Nancy Lanza. The court instructed Nancy Lanza to either sell or refinance the mortgage so that her husband is no longer liable for it."

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2012/12/17/nancy-lanza-conn-adam-lanza/1774611/

Yes, it sounds like she had to sell this house. So she was going to move and take AL with her so he could go to school.

By all accounts of survivors yet far, there was only ONE gunman. He shot himself!

I BEG all of you all to let this other man go as a suspect! The media has, and that should be telling.

The stigma, the guilt. I can not possibly imagine what he is feeling at this point. To bring attention would only make it worse..... again JMO

I expect the truth!! If what you are saying is true, why would ANYONE feel badly towards him? An unarmed man really has no other choice but to run in a situation like that.

In my opinion, it wouldn't be any worse than the way the parents were told by the Gov. that their children had been murdered. (cries)...There had to have been a better way.

all jmo....

The odd thing is there is video of a man being chased by LE into the wooded area. Maybe dad ran out into the woods? And, if the major news outlets can respect his privacy... I can too. I wasn't trying to cause anyone grief, I'm just asking questions.

I don't know if this has been posted yet. I have been backing off a bit as it is so depressing.

Nancy Lanza, Gunman's Mother, Deliberately Forgotten In Newtown Memorial

In Newtown, where makeshift memorials of stuffed animals, angels, candles, flowers and balloons have blossomed on patches of grass throughout town, there is only one noticeable tribute to Nancy Lanza. It's a letter written by a friend on yellow paper affixed, screwed and shellacked onto a red piece of wood.

"Others now share pain for choices you faced alone; May the blameless among us throw the first stone," it reads in part.

Some view her as a victim, but one whose guns were used to kill first-graders. And others think Nancy Lanza was an innocent victim, one who should be counted and included at memorials.

MS patients are advised to avoid hot weather, heat and stress. A good friend has MS and she feels much better in hot, humid Richmond than in cool, humid Pittsburgh, so I guess this varies between individuals.

The earliest report stated that this was a neighbor that lived behind the woods and the school. When heard heard gunshots, he walked from his home behind the school towards the noise and was arrested. (I have no idea if this is true.)

Another story said that this was a legitimate hunter in the woods. He was spotted by LE that morning and arrested.

We may never know the truth.
