I've just seen a bit of this today. Does anyone know the name of the (apparently) doctor who testified that she would never use propofol outside of the hospital. She was quite exotic looking and seemed to have on a stunning jacket. TIA

I believe you are referring to Dr. Thao Nguyen - one of the cardiologist in the ER.

I don't think actors/actresses get paid to go on casting calls?? Correct me if I'm wrong. Seems like anyone else going on a job interview and not being paid for that either.

You're right -- they don't even get subway fare.... Occasionally a casting call for a bit part in a play or a movie will appear in a teeny-tiny ad in the NYTimes. No pay, of course, just walk in the door and be ready to be disappointed, but sometimes good things happen... When a show is on tour, there will be casting calls on the local level -- in the city where the tour is going -- for crowds, or people in a line, or a mob, etc., etc.

It may not happen to Alvarez, however, but she's trying.

And she is a beauty.

IA and I think Alvarez and Dr. Murray shared a "special" relationship despite his attraction to other women. Alvarez said Dr. Murray invited her to go to London with her and she was planning to go. The couple introduced their son to MJ at Michael's request.

However, Alvarez did say Dr. Murray left their apartment nearly every evening at 9 pm "to go to work", when it was time for her to put their baby to bed and he returned home in the morning. This was their routine for at least 3 months.

Dr. M was probably going to the night clubs and she wasn't aware of it. She apparently wasn't interested or concerned about his extra curricular activities because she had her own career had a baby to take care of, and he paid the rent which was $2500 per month.

I wonder if the other women Dr M met in the bars knew he was living with Alvarez and had a baby boy?

All of Dr. Murray's "friends" who testified are beautiful imo.

Yes but the witness did get it on the record in one of his responses that even though there is no regulation, that given the nature of these drugs he would have only shipped them to a dr office or clinic. I'm glad he was able to say that on the record. IMO these drugs should be more controlled than they appear to be.

Ms. Alverez stated that she went down to the common area and picked up the boxes a couple of times too. They were dropped off with noone around in the lobby of their appartment. That is scary that someone could have just picked up a box of those drugs and walked away with it.

I think she did a great job as a witness and yes, her jacket was awesome. Very stunning woman.

I was surprised when I heard today it was Dr. Murray who was providing MJ with the cremes which MJ used to whiten his skin not a dermatologist.

On the invoice dated April 6 2009, the cost of the Benoquin creme was $1200.

In May 2009, Dr. Murray requested samples of Hydroquinocreme from Mr. Lopaz.

On June 15 2009, after MJ sampled an energy boost formula Dr. Murray received from Mr. Lopaz, Dr. Murray informed Mr. Lopez that he liked the product and placed an order for it as well.

I wonder about the legal wife of Dr. Murray - and why she hasn't divorced this husband of her's? Does anyone know anything about Mrs. Conrad Murray?

I'm actually shocked that this judge allowed these women to testify.

Ha! Vinnie just used the word "parade" of women. Talk about character assassination. Wow.

I'm not so sure this was a good move on the part of the prosecution. They could've let this evidence in without these women parading in front of the jury.

Oh and who cares if he had 7 kids with 5 women? What does that have to do with this case?

How many kids he has is not part of the trial nor has it been said in testimony so that is a moot point. Other than the jurors coming up with their own speculation, nothing at all was said on the stand to assassinate his character and, in fact, the judge already ruled that nothing could be mentioned in that regard as to his multiple girlfriends. I don't even recall there being any testimony as of yet that he is married.

These women were brought to the stand to establish that he did, in fact, talk to various different people at times when talking or texting on the phone was the last thing he should have been doing. Phone records alone does not establish that it was in fact Dr. Murray on the phone and that he did in fact actually speak to someone on the other end.

If it had been a brother, sister, father or mother, etc he was talking to, that is who we would have seen on the stand. It just so happens, it was his girlfriends.

I think that was Dr. Nguyen, cardiologist. I've been wanting to see the video of her testimony, but haven't found the whole, only a snippet at cnn.

All of the girls will probably get some talk show deals when this is over with and I say, go for it!

There is nothing in Dr. Murray’s biography to confirm he was ever married.

It does say however that in December 2008 Dr. Murray, who has an unknown number of children, was ordered to cough up $3,700 in unpaid child support.

His father, Rawle Andrews, was a Houston area physician who up until his death in 2001, focused his career on offering medical services to the poor.

On HLN they said some in the Jackson family were making snide comments. Did anyone catch what those comments were? TIA

I think Randy said that Alvarez looked older than 29.

Asked about meeting MJ. She's pretty proud about meeting him. Was impressed the Murray was treating MJ. Murray arranged for her to meet MJ. It was a surprise. She was speechless. They went to MJs home. Spent a brief time at the visit. She was excited.

Asked about meeting other patients. She has met other patients, yes. In Houston. When she met MJ it was the only patient she had met.

Sorry lunch time gotta go.

I noticed Brazil got her to say she had met some of his other patients in Tx but that was after MJ died.

is it true that the dr. was never paid by mj?

MJ was not responsible for paying Murray. CM was to be under contract negotiations with AEG. They are the ones who have refused to pay him.

Guess they dont believe in rewarding someone for very bad reckless behavior.

IMO
