He said that he's been in court several times before, as an expert witness, and charges $3500 per day.

Perhaps he forgot or got mixed up about his past experiences in court.
Perhaps he was referring to his own malpractice suits?

Witness would like his quotes to be given in context not taken out of context. Humm...but it is ok for witness to do that with other's statements. What's good for the goose is not good for the gander in this instance.

Above is just part of what is up on the overhead at court right now. Witness is now reading about standard monitoring equipment.
