I would too. That person here in Oregon needs to be tested right away and do whatever it takes to make that happen.

She just wrote me. She has a friend who is a nurse and has started getting ill. She said they spent 3 hours today talking the hospital into testing the nurse. They agreed if the nurse friend tests positive they will test her too. It takes 5 days for the results though.

I'm hearing of way too many people begging to be tested. The CDC completely screwed this up. Their total failure in the testing department is almost certainly why they are limiting and prioritizing testing and then not tracing where it is.

wh
"Human error" keeps confounding all the progress.

Well, that and ignorance and stupidity

Why would anyone recovering from a virus head to the mall?! Why not go straight to the hotel and order delivery instead? I just do not understand the desire to go clothes shopping when ill! It's the last place I'd want to be in a loud, crowded shopping mall!

What is going on in Italy? WHERE are all these tourists picking up the virus? It's either somewhere everyone is going and/or there are way, way more cases in Italy than we know about yet.

I'm hearing on the news that the containment stage is over. China did its best, but it didn't work. It has spread around the world. A pandemic is inevitable.

I guess we know ask how did it fail? take notes for the next one!

OK tiny poll : do we trust these people on home isolation?

NO!!! Absolutely NO!
I've spoken to some aquaintances they already said they'd sneak out to go party or hang out with friends. So, no I don't trust others to self-isolate!

Hopefully the Chinese people who murdered their pets get this message. I have too many swear words to post here.

Your pet can't catch coronavirus. Here's why one dog tested positive

Despite this, the AFCD and the World Health Organization both agree there is no evidence that pets such as cats or dogs can be infected with coronavirus.

That's because while dogs can test positive for the virus, it doesn't necessarily mean they have been infected.
