I wonder what needs to happen where they stop saying the risk is low. Will they ever say it's high or just stop saying something in that vein.

Although politics are not allowed, politics (economics and supply chain) are calling the shots here. The message is that everything is great, a vaccine is in the works, billions of dollars are dedicated to getting it done, sit tight, all is well. At the same time, thousands of people are stuck on a cruise ship sucking in the virus, people are dying, contamination is fast, there is human to human transmission all over the world, it is un-contained.

It has occurred to me, that we on this thread, sound like we are going through the 7-stages-of-grief.

Basically it’s a waste of manpower, since it’s not very reliable. It’s probably more effective to have extra workers actually cleaning high traffic areas. IMO

I know what you’re saying, and I agree that many could slip through the screening process, but I would argue that the manpower involved with contact tracing and other processes after the fact would require a lot more manpower.

An ounce of prevention....

I did read an article earlier today about a man who says he was cured of COVID19 by taking HIV drugs. I didn't bother reading it as I thought it sounded goofy, but maybe not? I'll see if I can find the article again...gimme as sec.

I still think it's all gonna be okay, up here in Canada
but I'm sitting atop my giant stack of tp.

None of my family members are the least bit concerned but me. Am I crazy to be worried? I'm in Ontario where most of the cases are ... there is no hand sanitizer or N95masks near here.

ETA: my mom may be a bit concerned but she's elderly and has lived through wars and the Depression so she has a right to be IMO
