Why?

As a gun owner, I ask why.
My husband and I were gun shopping today. (Security at our church). Long lines backed up so we left. They were buying guns not ammunition.

@Herat , YES. I have. Absolutely. There is ZERO point in buying trailmix and I’m NOT even kidding. I bought frozen fruit to suck on if I need something sweet.

Honestly, I’m dripping sweat so badly atm I’m going to have to take a break. I am having some kind of severe anxiety reaction. :drama: Note to pick up here.

(ETA: Which unfortunately brings to the table it’s virtually impossible financially to stock up on my medical marijuana. This is a huge concern. I have health conditions for which this is required.)

Wrt to your medical marijuana supply.
Does it cost a lot per month and is there a time restriction between prescriptions?

#COVID19 update, let’s focus on the USA. We now have 436 confirmed cases and 17 deaths. Community transmission likely happening throughout the country. With increasing in testing and an Ro of 2 - 3 predict ~ 10,000 cases by end of March. Time to implement mitigation strategies. Carlos del Rio on Twitter

With all the "pent up demand" for calling it the "P" word, chit is gonna hit the fan?? to the markets when/if WHO pronounces MOO

Portugal's president self-isolates amid virus outbreak

LISBON, Portugal -- The office of Portugal's 71-year-old president said Sunday that he has canceled all public activities and will stay at home amid the coronavirus outbreak.

President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa recently received a group of students from a school which has since been closed following the detection of a student with COVID-19.

His office said that the president had no symptoms.

Ummm, perhaps he is an example of a human fomite? (Ha! just had to add that word to my computer dictionary) Not spread due to infection of himself having the disease, but hand to hand to infecting others with the virus from another person...jeez...

So many cases for epidemiologists and this for sure is one. I can envision folks now in their doctorate programs raising their hands wanting this case. My wonder is was he not infected and just transmitting like a surface fomite.
He is not fomite. He tested positive and is in the hospital.

Long question. Will address this more later, feeling a little woozy. Too much (bad) input coming in too fast.

Short answer Re the cost, imo, Bottom line in a nutshell, it’s just like food, Tylenol, toilet paper, Clorox wipes, tater tots, ice cream or anything else...it’s how much you can afford to buy and how you prioritize. This has always been at the top of my list, but honestly I spent some of my weed budget on food and other things. We’ve got very decent limits here. Going for some calming tea I think @zecats mentioned upstream.

The good thing is have the strong hash oil pen cartridges, they have stronger THC and CBD levels than “flower”. Think I’ll get some of those at the store if I can to “maximize the supply”.

Mags officially panics. Jk. Not really/

Sorry, O/T but I never thought I'd see the day that people would need a gun for protection in church. Mass shooters targeting churches and schools... Sad times.

(Reuters) - New York City could have 100 or more coronavirus cases within two to three weeks, up from 13 now, Mayor Bill de Blasio said on Sunday.

"That pace is going to pick up due to community spread," de Blasio told a news conference. "At some point, we could easily be hundreds of cases."

KEEP THIS IN MIND

When China had 571 cases on Jan 22nd they locked down Wuhan.

When we see this happen in a particular place, we will know we've run out of options.

Ugh...I have a necessary doctor appointment tomorrow. The waits are always long, but he’s worth it so I put up with it. If the waiting room is crowded I’m going to ask to sit in an auxiliary waiting room they have or out in my car. They can phone me when they’re ready for me. It’s a very nice office and they like us because we aren’t complainers so I’m sure they’ll put up with/accommodate my “special needs.” I will be very interested in what precautions they are or aren’t taking.

I have a much-needed haircut appointment on Tuesday. I don’t want to cancel because I hate to see the economic downturn trickle down to small business people any sooner than necessary. But I will get a shorter cut and stretch out the next appointment longer...and hope things aren’t even worse by then or I’ll be cutting my own! And I have another necessary doctor appointment the following week (don’t get old). If I survive all this I’m good to go for awhile...I think.
I had one last week. It actually turned out to be a good thing as I got a clean bill of health from a physical, blood work, urine test, and also a pneumonia vaccine. All tests and labs were positive (in a very good sense) so I have a sense of relief at least from all that.

Good luck!

This basically does it....the rates for SK and Italy of cases per million population are significantly over China's top level and took a much steeper turn than China.

Marking to stare at, thank you.

Hi @Tadpole12 I wanted to help and found a pretty good source I think. Lists the typical meth withdrawal timeline too.
Meth Withdrawal Symptoms and Detox - Addiction Center

Thanks, Rayofhope.
ETA OT but
God Bless those that go through this detox journey, and the months of anxiety and depression that linger.
I just wondered if symptoms would mimic Covid-19.

I wonder if people are going to start having proximity anxiety,
when others are within your personal space, 6 ft perimeter?
