Israel Health Minister quarantining travelers from CA, Washington state, and NY for 14 days. Trump not happy, trying to work something out.

Actually, Israeli Health minister can do this over prime minister objections and is considering an entire US 14 day quarantine.

Coronavirus: Man in his 60s becomes third person to die in UK after testing positive

A man in his 60s has become the third person to die in the UK after testing positive for coronavirus.

The patient had "significant underlying health conditions" and was being treated at North Manchester General Hospital when he died, according to England's chief medical officer Chris Whitty.

He had also recently returned from a trip in Italy.

Washington state

From their website....county, age, gender

Thank you for this. Iirc from the first few minutes of the earlier Oregon Governor’’s live stream (Anne Brown is her name iirc), I thought she said something about doing these reports for OR as well.

DH is a psychologist.. He has always told me that as scary as a panic attack can be, you'll be of; you won't die from it. Hard to imagine when you're having one, (have had a few myself over the years), but you're right, they do pass.
The first time I had one was on a Sunday afternoon. I thought I was dying of a heart attack for real. My husband drove me to the hospital but by the time we got there ( we live a ways away from one ) I was better. Still went to the doctor the next morning and she told me something I've never forgotten: "You will never have a worse panic attack than the one you had yesterday because next time you will know you're having one".

My coworker just called me to see if I was at work. Turns out she's in the ER with her husband who was having a hard time breathing. They returned from a trip to Arizona about a week ago. The flight was from sac. Airport to Las Vegas to Arizona. They are not testing him for cov19 because they said he hasn't had contact with anyone who has traveled outside the country. He has every single symptom. I just don't get it.

Why are governors declaring "State of Emergency"? INMO, that seems super scary.
It's to go on record for getting federal funds.
In actuality it doesn't mean much although the
proclamation sounds very proactive if you read it. You can see ours at Fl. Dept. of Health.

It's already clearly communally spread and yet they refuse to test.

That is so true. Very good advice.

I get them often when I experience exercise asthma. Even during a yoga class once when I couldn't get my breath during a rather rapid sun salutation flow. I find I have to stand up and move around - to get my breath under control. But at least I now know what it is and that it WILL pass.

Thanks for your response..

I saw that incident reported on NBC Evening News. The man with the spray bottle didn't want an Asian-appearing man to board the subway train (or bus) :(

Man.

We need some serious Dr. Tedros in the house. All this is just sickening.

“We must stand together in solidarity.”
-Dr. Tedros

I was hoping I’d never have to bust that out. I made references earlier to the power of that statement. I am using it now.

Are they admitting him?

Lack of data....give it 2 weeks....
Yes, 2 weeks, but I'm apprehensive to discover the headlines and reality at that point in time.

I read more about martial law, ability to restrain people without charges or trial.

Which may be the next step with people who are supposed to be quarantined but do whatever they want.

You all have NO idea how many helpful articles I’ve saved from your links “to read later.” I am so far behind I’ll never catch up...and if I try I’ll get behind here. What to do, what to do?

I consider my list fine Quarantine reading

More quotes from Doc T off the top of my head includes “stigma is worse then the virus”, and....

Grrrr. Going to have to pull forward a gazillion quotes just to address the negative effects of racism in the middle of all this.

:(

This is what's so infuriating! "Someone" has made that decision and sent it on down through the channels.
