I had one last week. It actually turned out to be a good thing as I got a clean bill of health from a physical, blood work, urine test, and also a pneumonia vaccine. All tests and labs were positive (in a very good sense) so I have a sense of relief at least from all that.

If he has pneumonia, then what would be the point in using a test on him? Seems like it would be wasteful. Would the treatment differ?

Because he may need to be on higher precautions to protect healthcare workers, visitors, and other patients who are immunocompromised by virtue of being patients there. We never did anything really special for pneumonia patients in terms of gowning, etc except wear masks.

As a Canadian who doesn't own a gun why would a supply chain issue make you want to buy more ammo if ammo wasn't an issue before the virus?

If one feels that the whole economy is a precariously balanced house of cards that could easily come tumbling down due to a disruption such as this virus (or a million other scenarios), then anytime things seem more precarious than usual will feel like a good time to stock up on things you feel you might need in the, um, aftermath.

Exactly. If he has covid you would think they would have wanted to know for protection of everybody else.

unless it's an absolute emergency that the workers come now, I'd postpone it til things
calm down and there's no worry.
With strangers, you never know where they've been or how well the clean themselves, etc.
I wouldn't do it, honestly.

I wish I could give more details but this reallly puts me in a BIG BIND. This is going to require a LOT of thought.
