I'm a firm believer in "internal sterilization"

Just pop a probiotic every once in a while

I use my Grandfather's technique who lived to 92. He swore that taking a shot of whiskey a day helped clean his "pipes" and helped him keep going.

I use his technique and even improved on it by swapping the Whiskey to Vodka and on certain days I increase the dose. :)

That's the second country, South Korea does it also, now Scotland...why can we (the US) borrow from their apparently working kits? What the hell...

I thought so highly of the drive through testing that I put it as a question to the Tennessee new coronavirus site to "ask an expert". If nothing else, it may get an "expert" to get the idea to share with others to do so! Those drive through testings centers need to happen in US MOO. Thanks to the poster, I forgot who it was, that shared that link! Coronavirus Disease Information and Resources

4:00 pm Pacific press conference from Santa Clara County (new unknown-origin case). This is in about 30 minutes. Supposed to be live-streamed from this website:

County of Santa Clara Public Health Department

I'm not a huge fan of Dr. Cody. But we'll see if she's very informative...

OHA has not been truthful in other outbreaks. There have been conflicting reports that some ppl already tested positive for it here. We shall see in a few days.....

Yes, I take it all with a large grain of salt...maybe several 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 my margarita glass! :D But seriously, with 1 or possibly 2 cases in WA, and international flights in and out of PDX, plus Interstate 5 running through the state, (and my Amazon package coming from Vacaville ) it’s just a matter of time. I live in a town that draws thousands of visitors from all over the west coast and nation starting this month, so I’m not too optimistic.

From now on I’m wearing disposable gloves when I’m shopping with a shopping cart. I don’t care if I get looks.
I noticed all the cashiers at Walmart are wearing gloves now. Maybe they did before and I never noticed?
They were at mine too here in Marietta GA.

DAVIS, Calif. —

Authorities on Friday were dealing with a new coronavirus case in Santa Clara County, heightening concerns that the disease is spreading in the United States.

The new case comes as officials in Northern California are searching for people who might have come in contact with a Solano County woman who is believed to be the country’s first novel coronavirus patient who did not recently travel outside the U.S. or come in contact with someone who did.

Didn't the first pt. to test positive fly into San Jose airport from China? He said he self isolated until he got sick and went in.

California patient with unknown origin of coronavirus is in serious condition, official says
3 hrs ago

“The California patient who tested positive for the coronavirus days after being hospitalized is in serious condition and intubated, California Rep. John Garamendi told CNN's Erin Burnett.”

Poor thing. She was intubated when she was transferred to the U.C. Davis Medical Center in Sacto IIRC, so it doesn’t sound as if she has improved any. :( Hoping things turn a corner for her soon.

“"These are two cases that are in the list of evacuee cases that are transferred to local authorities, so we're obligated to announce them as Solano County cases. So they're not new to the coronavirus overall, but they become differentiated from the evacuee cases," Matyas said.

The two people from the cruise ship tested positive for the illness in Japan, then again when they arrived at the Air Force base in Fairfield. They were released by the CDC, but immediately transferred to separate health care facilities.

"It has turned out that a couple of those individuals are Solano County residents, so we transferred responsibility from the federal quarantine, or federal isolation, to local isolation," Matyas said. "We did that so that we can get them back into their home, and it's much more comfortable for them to be in their home than in the hospital."”
