Medical providers don't even ask their patients this question, unless for surgery or other invasive treatment.

I noticed that my doctor(s) and other health care professionals will say at some point during the visit that vaccines for pneumonia, flu, and covid-19 are available if you want me to refer you to . . .

But they don't ask directly, that is the protocol. I appreciate the respectful approach they take.
Here, they don’t need to ask because the information is held on our medical record. I am happy with that, personally.

I was quite surprised a couple of months back when I phoned my GP and as she read my file she said “negative Covid test recorded two weeks ago”… That was from a PCR I sent to a lab.

Why are testing kits taking so long to arrive in the US? Does your mail take ages to arrive too?
Still waiting also, ordered on first day of website online

Ordered the first day site opened, for myself and about 6 others. We are still waiting. I ask my mail lady if they were seeing alot come in to the PO. She said very few and not daily.

No mask either. I have friends at both federally funded health clinics, suppose to be at the top of the list. They ordered the first day. They be heard, NOT A WORD. Emailed both my Senators, got a form letter telling me all about the program and a link to order test kits. Hey dudes, I ask about mask??? No response to when we will receive, no offer of follow up.

Moo...

Australians will now need three Covid vaccine doses to be considered “up to date” with their shots, but it will be left to individual states to set their own rules on booster mandates.

The announcement followed the latest meeting of national cabinet where states and territories also agreed to start moving toward the final phase of Australia’s virus reopening plan and begin to treat Covid the same way as the flu.

National cabinet agreed to set no national three-dose mandates except for workers in aged care, and instead leave booster rules to individual jurisdictions.

National cabinet also resolved that the Department of Health would lead a “winter preparedness audit” of Australia’s health systems, ahead of an expected wave of Covid and flu this winter. It comes a week after Kelly had warned of a dual Covid-flu wave in the colder months.

Australians will require three Covid vaccine doses to be considered fully vaccinated

I ordered ours the day before it went live . They arrived February 25. They were delivered during a big cold snap. They sat in my mailbox for three days while we were on vacation. I called the number on the box for questions and the person that answered said they should be fine as long as I let them come to room temp before using. I had the sniffles and didn’t trust them. Got a PCR test at the pharmacy. It was negative.

January 25, right?

The US Department of Homeland Security has warned that a convoy of truckers protesting against Covid-19 vaccine mandates could impact the Super Bowl.

In a bulletin issued to law enforcement agencies across the US, the department said it had received reports of truck drivers planning to potentially block roads in major cities in protest against mandatory Covid vaccinations in their industry.

First reported by Yahoo News, the bulletin said that action could continue until mid-March, and threaten both the Super Bowl - one of the world's biggest sporting events - and President Joe Biden's State of the Union address, scheduled for 1 March.

Its bulletin added that such a convoy could "severely disrupt transportation" across the country and that the department would continue to monitor the situation.

well, it it interferes with the Super Bowl, that is basically the end of the western world (not to me personally but I am an outlier). Though it is cold as the far reaches of hell in Canada in the winter, we do seem to get a lot of solar greenhouse produce from them and other products (chicken wings?) so I imagine there are some Canadian businesses not liking this protest much at all.

I don't understand, from that article, how those truckers would affect this Sunday's Super Bowl. Did they mean the shipments or suppliers would be delayed?

I am pretty sure the stadium already has it's shipments already by now. And the vast majority of Super Bowl attendees have already arrived in LA. Most come Wed or Thursday to begin enjoying the pregamed events, etc.

I think that article was maybe just trying to scare or upset people to shine a bad light on the protesters?

It’s not supplies. Appears to be a threat of road blocks in various cities and other disruptions?

Our restaurant is having it's first "celebration event" in over 2 years, Valentine's Day, this Monday, in Southern California.
We have large outside patio. Weather is expected to be in the high 70's.
There will be some "winging" it.
Items I need from my food suppliers for this menu are hit and miss.
We are also out of practice!
Hopefully, we can pull it off and deliver a great dinner and service to our loyal customers. Lord knows, we are in need of a positive night that supplies not only good vibes, but a cash infusion.
I'm digging deep on this because I'm fighting myself on saying F it.
Thankfully, I've always been a fighter.
But at 68, I'm tired.
This virus has been very cruel to all of us.
Wish me "stamina".
