Got lucky used to mean something else and not buying cottonelle wipes at Walmart.Had a friend that got lucky at Walmart, ordered and picked up a couple disinfectants and handsoap refills and cottonelle wipes at the order online to pick up app. She was thrilled they still had some petfood items. Might try that . Best to you and your family and community. Be Well
How pathetic a confirmed positive refused to isolate & had to be forced into his home & now police must “watch” his house. I am appalled at such ignorance.
Yipes! I have a number of friends in Nova Scotia and while most of them are young I worry about their parents and other older relatives. Here we go. Just announced we have 1 case on PEI.

Yes, I'm thinking there will be a time (soon?) that supply will catch up with demand! I mean, once the TP is restocked, people will eventually decide they have enough, right?West Texas - All HEB Grocery stores in our area have changed their hours to open 8am - 8pm daily, in order to have time to try and restock the bare shelves. So far their trucks are still running daily......moo
What a relief! Now we just have you to worry about. Stay safe and I hope they suspend court.I’m happy to report that my brother’s school (Catholic school teacher near Oakland CA), is finally closing. They will have two half days on Monday and Tuesday to figure out how to do remote teaching and then it’s shut for two weeks. I hope longer because after that there’s only a week before their spring break.
My brother has asthma like me. As a child it was life threatening. He was in the hospital for much of his early childhood. He’s better than me now. I didn’t have it until age 12.
But I worry.
My other brother has hypertension (I just remembered that) and is a social worker. They have not closed the county offices and were still having larger meetings there last week. His wife also works there.
Public school districts in my area have closed now.
I’ve been trying to avoid news to some degree because I haven’t been breathing well for days and I’m paranoid about it. Some of it is likely bad allergies and some might be stress or psychosomatic to a degree. I hope everyone is caring for their mental health right now.
You know this reminds me of a world war. Somewhat how people felt at that time with anxiety, uncertainty, life changing as they knew it, depression, death, constant updates news, learning about the globe and geography to track the “battle zones”, etc. Except we all have a common enemy.
The last thing I wanted to mention is seeing how people have decimated the shelves of food and worrying about people who can’t stockpile or shop like that or get around much and could be isolated, I hope everyone who is not at risk, feeling well, and doesn’t have a cough or anything, can reach out to a neighbor or someone they know who might be vulnerable to see how they’re coping and if they need anything. Even if it’s just a friendly word from the porch.
Stay safe ya’ll.
Oh, my Dad is going to love that (sarcasm). He’s such a social being - 83 years old and out and about nearly every day of the week. Still, whatever it takes to keep him safe. I’m sure you’ll feel the same about your own parents, @gregjrichards
