@margarita25
Was it you who posted a list of actions to take when retrieving amazon packages? Many threads back, iirc.
Maybe you can repost it.
Some of it was in jest... but...i liked it!

Wait whut, this is a crime site??

(feel terrible for neglecting my cases)

Was thinking the same thing just the other night. I joined just to follow the Delphi case - Abby & Libby

It never occurred to me that this website would end up actually having a much broader role in my own life.

This entire forum has been awesome since day one!!

Thank you @Amonet for having the foresight to create this forum!!

I forgot my dog was out in our fenced yard for quite a while too! Finally remembered as I was passing by the back door on my way to do a load of wash. I guess I'll finally get caught up on the laundry now that I'm being forced to WFH for the rest of the month! :p

I forgot to let my dog out. When I finally remembered, it was almost too late. At least he made it onto the porch before he peed, lol.

I thought I would give you all a little up date on my son in NY. Short story recap, he was exposed in class, 2 people tested positive and were sick. He was tested late last week and the results were supposed to be in yesterday. He called the follow up number and they are totally overwhelmed. His results are in but pending a doctors reading. They cannot be released without that. He was told they are totally backed up and couldn't tell him when the results would be given to him.

I am afraid things are falling apart in NY. MOO

Oh, thats awful, @pirate. I don't see why the MD can't have an RN handle this over the phone and get him advice.

I splurged and bought ice cream - thinking of it as a "scoop of happiness" if things became seriously desperate. I ate it all within 2 days.:p:oops:

I see no problem with this.

My daughter is so anxious about this. She is the one at the highest risk of contracting the virus, given her job. She is so afraid of bringing it home and infecting me. Not afraid for herself. Her concern about me and everyone else instead of herself just makes me cry.
My son will text and call, but is staying away from visiting. His job makes him even higher risk.
The kids have told me hands down, "Please don't go out for errands and shopping. We will do it. "
(I'm having a crisis about my age. I'm 62, asthmatic since childhood, and dang, when did this happen?)

LOLOLOL

How much alcohol am I going to need to have ready for that??

I was thinking about what poker games are going to look like in the near future.

“I’ll see your bottle of vodka....
and raise you two rolls of TP!”

MOO.....

It's true! I went through a whole pot of chai tea last night!

Oh I LOVE chai too, first discovered it at Glastonbury and was hooked. My local cafe does the most amazing chai latte, I should probably learn to make it like they do in case I can't get my fix!

Who knew one could lose weight on a potato diet.

I focused on potatoes as a main staple because they are cheap, filling, tasty, go a long way and you can do so much with them.

Yes carby carby, is not ideal for everyone.

My pants are literally falling down from eating one potato meal a day.

(Keep it clean folks)

ETA:
What a stark contrast to the huge weight gain the first week on the Covid diet, emotional eating with junk. My first thoughts went to get beer and ice cream. And trail mix.

Three weeks later I’m on a compleeeetely different path.

Again, I recommend more “meal based” and “nutrition based” food staples.

Think “sustenance” and meals.

Tasty Snacks did not last long at all in my house moo.

We were shoveling in sugary snacks (think cinnamon rolls and chocolate cake) for a couple of weeks for comfort. Once we start we can’t stop...until we stop. So a week ago Monday we hit the STOP button. We survived and are much better off. It saves money too. We need to be at our best for the long haul.
