Northern Iowa, Iowa State moving rest of semester online, canceling commencement 2 more colleges in Ia. cancelled graduation and are going online for the rest of the semester. UNI is also doing this for the Summer semester as well. IMO-I have a feeling health officials in Iowa and elsewhere believe this virus is going to last for an extended period time. I have also read many other activities in Iowa that are cancelled or postponed that were to be taking place up to 2 months from now or more. I wonder how it is in other states?

has anyone watched the netflix series pandemic? it is giving me chills. they KNEW it was coming, not if but when. Theres a part where the main guy says "no one knows where the next pandemic will start but we should keep close eyes on certain places, like china..." its actually eerily chilling. it feels so surreal right now. i cant quite believe whats even happening in the world... and they say this is the calm before the storm... :(

stay safe everyone.

2 new Long Island coronavirus testing drive-throughs open on Long Island

Two new drive-through testing facilities opened on Long Island (New York) Wednesday, one in Nassau and one in Suffolk.

The latest state testing site opened at the southwest corner of Stony Brook University.

A private testing site also opened in Jericho Wednesday morning.

This opening follows the first drive-through site opened at Jones Beach Tuesday morning.

Officials say residents should not expect to just show up at these testing sites -- you must first call the state hotline and get an appointment.

To make a testing appointment you must call the state's coronavirus hotline at 1-888-364-3065.

The sites at Jones Beach and Stony Brook will be open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Little nudge, if it is even possible, try to get a smaller breed.
I am in am end of life situation with my dog, who I probably need to say goodbye to, but...
Coronavirus has messed everything up!!
Anyway, she is unable to walk at times, still eating like a horse, wagging her tail, hydrayed etc.
It is killing my back having to pick her up to take her outside!!
My husband had a hip replacement and he has helped, but he isn't supposed to be lifting 60+ pounds.
If it was my smaller dog, I'd be fine.
Food for thought.
Congratulations!!

Oh yes, I agree. I'm a cancer patient so my strength is not what it used to be. A quiet senior dog, an older puppy or just a regular dog who isn't too big. I've been watching their page today to get an idea of what dogs are available.

I'm sorry your furbaby is struggling. We still miss every dog we've helped pass into doggie heaven.
