They are testing losartan yet losartan is a blood pressure drug that people have theorized could be making covid infection worse. I would really like to know which one it is.

I certainly would like to know and I bet those who are in self-quarantine with no symptoms would like to know.

Mrs. Fusco, of Freehold, died after spending Wednesday “gravely ill” and breathing with help from a ventilator, unaware that her two oldest children had died, Ms. Paradiso Fodera said.

Nearly 20 other relatives are quarantined at their homes, praying in isolated solitude, unable to mourn their deep collective loss together.

What I find so amazing about COVID-19 is this:

Still a lot of people out in public (maybe looking for TP? there is none to be had in this city) or driving along, nothing to do with so many places closed like bars, clubs, library, churches, etc. Saw only one out-of-state car with Ohio plates so it seems many "snowbirds" headed back home already.

Stopped at CVS for a few essentials including rocket fuel, noticed the nearby Detwiler's is packed to capacity. Try as I might I really do not understand the hoarding mentality. I did not understand it during Hurricane Irma, I do not understand it now.

Especially with the TP.

The shelves at CVS which usually have TP were completely empty with signs saying "Due to the demand of this product we are limiting only two per customer".

Unreal.

Losartan isn't an ACE inhibitor, *I don't believe*. I'm on metoprolol for hbp and tachycardia, but it's a beta blocker. Jmo

Losartan belongs to a group called anangiotensin II receptor antagonists. I've taken a low dosage of it for several years.

I work 8am-6pm. I have been going to a couple of stores for sanitizer (and the supplies to make it - are out) after work (can't go during). Checked online - nothing. But keep looking. I have soap and water, so I am grateful. My son's dad (we are divorced) is a tow truck driver and needs hand sanitzer, for now I gave him wipes and alcohol to pour into the wipes (unscented baby wips)

We can look at it that way, for sure. But we should also consider that the adults have not stepped up to prevent it either. Young adults don't always make the best decisions about lots of things and pretty much need the adult in the room to set down the rules. No one in charge has been doing this...bars are staying open, Air B'nB's are letting them remain there, the state government has not been completely on top of it.

And "kids" don't always see the "risk-reward" to it, only the "I still want to have fun now" theme.

I'm not excusing their behavior, but remembering when I was this age, I often had to be forced into doing something I might not do because I was a expected to be a normally responsible person. JMO
