My dog is opposed to this, lol.
I wonder how people will manage with special diets if the military is dropping off supplies. Does one just eat less of what one needs and give away or trade items not used?

Military is coming in I hope MOO. Seriously. This is what I am hoping for and focused on. We will all be in lockdown and I hope they can deliver supplies, etc etc.

That’s what has got to happen and will happen MOO.

Remember everyone that every single day you’re out, you are taking a big risk.

This is highly highly highly infectious.

This is THE message! My wife and I are in self imposed quarantine. It is time.

… snipped … Wine is great, but as it is my birthday weekend, I'm drinking gin and tonic (the quinine you know).

Happy Birthday 10ofRods! Party hardy!... in groups of 10 or less, of course. :p

Do they at least provide gloves? If not, I would buy a few boxes.
They provide all ppe besides we are out of masks...I will be honest though to wear gloves makes my job difficult to do so I dont wear them 100%. I know that's my fault.

Almost like being in prison & wondering what life on the outside is like?

Are you able to go outside? Fresh air, brisk walk???

I took a break and cut vines and worked cleaning up the flower gardens. Happy for sunshine in VA after several gloomy days. It help clear my mind.

Where is that? Where do they keep their hand sanitizer?
When you really think about it and consider all the STDs, drug use, fights, drunkness, and stupid stunts they pull COVID-19 probably isn't even in their top 5 of things that can go wrong with them at spring break.

We have people posting here about young people we know suffering.

Plenty of us are sincerely concerned about young adults who are not on the beach right now.

We've all seen the spring break photos. Enough, imo.

True- My young adult daughters are trying to cope the best they can as this has been a shock to their lifestyle, work life, home life and social life.
They are doing the best they can and are following the guidelines as are their friends.
We are just staying positive and when they see us following the guidelines and being positive, then they follow along as most kids do.
Positive begets Positive-- they follow by example.
They are being creative with their social interactions by having "Happy Hour Skype night" and shared chats while watching a show or a movie.
I am proud of how they are handling it and it will truly be a time in history they will look back on.

I think if one does not believe or has no interest in learning, let them be. Been long enough now any normal thinking person should at least have slight concern, if not for their community or family at least for their own safety.

Maybe the beach goers need to be told their inheritances wilted away so best to keep the sundowners safe, at least long enough for the markets to recover.

How Does COVID-19 Compare with the Flu? This article mentions how this virus is mutating. Which makes is part of what makes it makes so dangerous. That combined with fact it is a novel virus so everyone is vulnerable to it. So it's like the flu on Flakka. You may be young and not immune compromised but Covid 19 is a vicious opportunist, and changing as we speak.
MOO.

Ah, the youth. They are the most resilient. Those young people, the majority, are absolutely the FINEST anyone could ask for. They are intelligent, aware, capable, adaptable, and savvy in so many ways.

NEVER discount their abilities.

This global crisis will likely create the next 'greatest' generation.

I will not personally allow the few who are a bit wayward discolor the majority of our young generation.

Any that need support are free to PM me on here, I worked in U.S. public high school for 20 years, and in a residential treatment facility prior to that. I believe in our youth, 100%.

MOO, a person can be part of the problem in this crisis, or part of the solution. Which will YOU choose?

Ok, so a plane is flying over my house inland doing some crop dating thing! Should I open my windows or keep them closed?
Is it coronavirus killer?
They haven't used pesticide trucks in 45 years and I've NEVER seen a plane dusting over my house and the lake.
Color me confused!
Moo
ETA: I have lived here 27 years. That never happens! Only life flight flies over.
